(The Great Hall doors burst open with fluffy tufts of snow carried on the cold winds of the outdoors.
CLONK, CLONK, CLONK. A bundled figure with a bag slung over his shoulder emerged from between these heavy doors, trudging along with seemingly heavier winter boots.
A muffled "Ugh." emitted from beneath the layers of warm outerwear, and the person's mittened hands soon removed each article carefully. When there was nothing left except a pair of black slacks, a soft black sweater with a bright red heart embellishment, and the pair of boots to clothe this lad, he let out a chuckle, and ran his now mitten-free fingers through his newly black hair.
His pale, thin hands then snatched up his pack, and he shouted,) "Traffic's a b****, sorry I'm late."

Tara looked up from the table and her meal as the silly male entered the hall. She allowed her dark brown eyes to take in what she could of him without laughing and spraying her chewed food over the person sitting opposite of her. She didn’t know why she found him silly, she just did, something she hadn’t thought of, but all the same caught her off guard.
Traffic’s a b****… That was the phrase that sent her to nearly choke on her food, nothing more, just seemed some how to be entirely out of place here in the school and so, she found it amusing, to say the least.
When Tara had first arrived in this new school, she had been withdrawn, but it seemed she had taken a turn full about and was digging in now with both heels firmly planted to take off. Had she remained as she was at first, she may not have even bothered to take note of how pale his skin was against the raven locks, or how odd he seemed.. Well, of course around here, oddities abounded, but this creature seemed all the more out of place than any, besides the demon she’d already run into. Tara shrugged and let herself smile at him as he made his way into the hall all the further, his boots still making that squishy, wet sound as he walked.

hmmmmm. (joey let out a sigh and shrugged. he clapped his hands and the excess clothes, as well as the pack full of presents, dissappeared into thin air.)
I should have known...(joey hissed angrily.) everyone here is too f***ing busy to greet me on a cold night. I should have known...(he raised his head and slipped through the floor as if it simply wasn't there.)
