Aya was wandering around the castle, wondering where the Big-Eating-Room was. She was hungry and couldn't find Daddy. Mummy was gone to the Big-Get-Better place. Finally she heard many voices. She followed them to two HUGE doors. "Oooooooohhhhhh" she said. She looked around for someone to help her open the Big Doors.
Suddenly -

Suddenly everything that surrounded the toddling infant swished downward as a larger but familiar person scooped Aya in his arms. The face of her smiling father came to clear view as he tilted her around, and he placed a kiss on her button nose.
"Aya, I turn my back for a minute and you're already off somewhere else. You're energetic today, aren't you?" he cooed, trying not to stare at her too directly with his now crimson-red irises. If he knew anything about babies, he knew that they paid great attention to colors. And red would probably bear a startling contrast to the original azure that streamed from his gentle eyes. Nevertheless, he looked upon his baby girl with no less love or admiration.

"Daddy!" giggled Aya as her nose was gently kissed. "Daddy" She grabbed his face with her small hands and kissed his nose back. She snuggled her cheek against his then looked over at the Big-Eating-Room door.
"Open" she said and stretched out her arms toward them, wiggling her fingers as if to force magic from them that would cause the doors to do as she said. "Open Daddy. Please?"
OOC:(By the way what is your last name and what is Jesika's maiden name? I'm trying to make a bio on the bio site.)

(OOC) The last name is Krushiev, though dun' be too surprised if Daddy ends up using a different last name from time to time. He doesn't exactly have the best of friendships in everyone, and that's usually the easiest way he can avoid them. As for your mommy, well, Daddy's memory fails him at what her last name was. >< (BIC) With the slightest wave of hand, the great doors to the dining hall before them gently opened with a slightly polished creak. The blonde then turned to the little one on his arm, a look of great awe and surprise etched in his features. "Well what do you know, Aya? You opened those things all by yourself!" he said with a broad smile as he held the adorable girl closer to him as he walked through the doors. He of course was refering to when Aya had outstretched her arms, as if to will them open.

OOC: (thanks!)
"Aaaah!" said Aya clapping her hands together in joy. She believed Daddy completely about the fact that she herself had opened the doors and reviled in her newly found power.
"Yahee! Opened, opened! I is Aya!" she said in delight. As they walked thought the Big-Eating-Place Aya couldn't help but smell all the yummy foods that were on the tables.
"Daddy 'Tatos! Yummy 'Tatos and Cheese!" she said reaching for the Potatoes that were on the Gryffindor table. Then she suddenly remembered what had happened to the doors and folded her arms together, afraid to knock the potatoes off the table.

Kira had been in the Gryffindor Common Room, attempting to study, when her stomach had rumbled rather loudly at her. Realizing that she had yet to eat that day, she had pried herself from the armchair she had spent the better part of the morning in. Shoving her book back into her bag she snatched up the speaking cane, leaving the common room silently.
A short time later she meandered into the Great Hall, speaking cane silent in her hand. People clammered about, occasionally bumping into her as she made her way toward the Gryffindor table.
A vaguely familiar voice filtered through the crowds and she halted her steps, searching for a name to match to the voice. Realization dawned on her and she moved forward once more, a small smile appearing on her face as she approached Kezaa. She was opening her mouth to speak when another voice piped up, exclaiming over the food.
"Daddy 'Tatos! Yummy 'Tatos and Cheese!"
Kira giggled quietly at the exuberant-sounding child, stepping forward and nodding a greeting to the man who had helped rid the Great Hall of an attacking lycan not long before.
"Hello," she said aloud, coming to a stop alongside the couple.

"Hi Miss Lady!" Exclaimed Aya joyfully. Being only two, everyone was Lady or Miss Lady to Aya. "I is Aya. Daddy and Aya gonna eat 'Tato's wit' cheese!
After a few moments of observation, the little girl grew confused and looked deep into Kira's face wonderingly. She couldn't help but notice that Kira's eyes wouldn't focus on her and this seemed strange to the baby.
"Look'et me." she said "Look'et me! I is Aya!"

"Oh? Hello, back." Kez said with a hint of casual laziness in his voice as he tilted his head slightly over his shoulder. The girl was Kira, Ashlle's friend. He turned himself around with Aya in tow, as she seemed to be fussing about something. Perhaps she just wanted a bit of attnetion.
"Well now, it's nice that we can meet under more pleasant circumstances." the blonde said with a faint chuckle, forgetting that his eyes still bore an alarming contrast of red, as opposed to the deep blue sapphires that everyone felt distinguished him so.
"I guess this means it's the first time you've seen my baby girl. Kira, this is Aya."

"I is . . Aya, said Aya, suddenly shy. Why wound't this new person look at her? It seemed very strange that she wouldn't. Usually people liked looking at her. They'd exclaim 'She's so cute' or 'She's adorable'. That's what all Gram's friends did.
Aya squermed as she remember Gram. She didn't like Gram anymore because Gram had kept her away from Mummy on Mummy's birthday. Gram was no-fair . . . and had a smelly house with smelly Knezles.
Aya sighted in frustration. "Tato's Daddy" she said quitely. "Tato's wit' cheese."

The faint pitter-patter of mature feet waffed in as did a feminine figure in a robe of ivory velvet. The young woman's face, framed in silky ringlets, glowed with cheer at soon she she entered the room. Graceful with serenity, she halted and allowed the inhabitants to retrieve her identity the moment they saw her. The creamy robe swept around her soft curves and was secured around her waist by a lavendar sash trimmed in lace. Delicate hands clutched a floppy canvas bag, and her feet bore leather sandals. Her honey like voice trickled from her like it did so long ago, and her emerald eyes twinkled in reply.
"What are my darlings up to?"

At first Aya couldn't believe her eyes. "Mummy?" she blinked and rubbed her eyes. Wasn't Mummy at the Big Get-Better-Place? But upon looking again Aya was sure.
"MUMMY!" she cried Happily, reaching her arms out to Jesika. "Mummy I's missed you sososososo much! Water was trickling out of Aya's eyes form some reason. She frowned. That was strange, usually that only happened when the Mean Kneasles scratched her.

Nodding slightly in response to Kezaa's comment, Kira replied quietly, "Yes, it is."
Her attention returned to the little girl, a small smile appearing on her face at the child's sudden bashfulness. She tried to picture the girl in her mind but drew a blank, having no clues to work with. Focussing her attention toward the child, she tried her best to make her eyes focus, to make the girl believe she could see her. A frustrated sigh brushed past her lips as she gave in to the futility of the attempt, turning her gaze downward.
"I wish I could, sweetie," she murmured in response to Aya's pleas. "I'm sure you're adorable."
She shook her head slightly, unsure of how- or if- to explain her blindness to the child. A new voice, floating melodicly over the noise of the Great Hall, saved her from the decision. She looked up, smiling slightly upon hearing Aya's gleeful chatter. So, this must be the girl's mother.
