Persephone walked across the Entrance Hall and into the Great Hall. It wasn't as jam packed with students as usual, but that was probably because it wasn't a main meal time. Hardly was the Great Hall ever completly bare.
Persephone had learned early on that if you missed a meal time you could always go into the Great Hall instead of sneaking into the kitchens, although the latter was much more fun. Sephe enjoyed taking the risks that the kitchens presented.
As she turned in the Great Doors, her eyes searched the passing students for Fae Wings. She decided to wait for her new friend before going any farther into the room.

Fae Wings stepped into the Great Hall. It looked huge, and her first thought was that there were indeed lots of students in the magical school. She looked away, her eyes searching for Sephe. When she finally found her, she stood by her. "Wow, it's amazing! Umm...Where do we sit?" She asked, her eyes wavering at the five tables.

"Well there's the staff table and then there's the house tables. It really doesn't matter what one you sit at, though some people have a coronary if you sit at their table. But a lot of people usually table hop anyways."
It was true too. More often than not people started off at their house tables and by the end of the meal they were at someone else's. Not that that was a big problem, but people usually had to ask to sit at another houses table.

Fae furrowed her brows. A tad confuzed, she asked, "So, can I stay at your table?"

"Sure. There's plenty of room their."
Persephone led the way to the Ravenclaw table. It was half empty, but their were a few students sitting at the end. Persephone took a seat at the other side of the table. It was her usual seat, and there were two seats empty to either side of her and on the other side of the table as well.

Fae sat down besides Sephe, taking the left seat. She felt she'd intrude something if she'd take the right one. "So," she said, while filling her plate, "do you play Quidditch? I saw your firebolt earlier."

"Yeah. I'm the Ravenclaw seeker. Quidditch is probably the best sport, muggle or magic. There's nothing quite like it anywhere. Do you play?"
She turned to face Fae Wings as she poured two goblets of pumpkin juice. Sephe hadn't liked the stuff to begin with, but she had gotten used to it's taste, and now loved it...almost as much as she liked, and needed, coffee.

"Well, I don't actually play Qudditch," Fae said, refusing the pumpkin juice. "But I love flying, si I guess I have some... notions." Fae poured herself a cup of tea. She looked around for some lemon, and, as soona s she found some, she quickly dried the cup. She hadn't had one of those in two whole hours! "Umm... Which classes do you take? What year are you?"

"Well, I take the usual. Potions, charms, divination, transfiguration, and, unfortunatly, history of magic. And I'm a sixth year along with my twin."
She smiled slightly at that and took a sip out of the pumpkin juice and looked around for some sugary stuff. She saw a cupcake and grabbed it. Rarely did she eat just "junk food", but she was in the mood for it now.

Fae's cheeks grew pink. She didn't want to ask so many things at once, but she was very curious. And also, she had though the girl was her age! "That's great. I'm going to continue my fourth year. Why is it unfortunatly to take History of Magic?" Fae loved history, magical or muggle. It was one of the few things she liked about the muggle world. It was just so fun to relate muggle history facts with magical ones!

" I guess because I have it first thing in the morning, and it's really hard to stay awake in that classroom. Other than that it's a good class."
It was true too. She didn't mind her teachers, and she didn't mind her courses, she just didn't like getting up that early in the morning. She just really wasn't that awake in the morning, but by lunch she was hyper and completly up.

Fae grinned. "I hate getting up early, too. I'm not what you call a morning person." She munched a bit on her biscuits, then sipped some more tea. "This tea's heavenly. Do house-elves make it?" Fae never had had a house-elf, for she had servants, not slaves. But she was a tad curious about the creatures since a distant cousin of hers bought one with her while spending winter holidays with her.

"Yep, though I think that there might be a few human servants that watch them somtimes, though they don't make the food. But the house elves are really marvelous at cooking and stuff. You sometimes see them at night, though not usually."
Persephone remembered night time excersions to the kitchens and late nights reading in the common room. She had become fast friends with the strange creatures, and she saw them sometimes tidying up the common room.

Fae smiled. "Sounds interesting... I'd like to meet a few house-elves. But I don't know where the kitchens are," she said, turning to Sephe and winking. "Oh, I guess I'll find them later. So you said you had a twin? Are you both Ravenclaws?"

Persephone shook her head, and her long silvery hair danced and swirled.
"No, she's in Gryffindor. Sometimes she doesn't really act like she belongs in there, but I know she does. She's cool like that though."
Persephone nodded almost to herself in agreement. Ariadne could be really quiet at times, but her twin was brave when it counted. In more ways then one the two could be polar opposites.
