Talon thought to himself about the story he just told, and then to Aidana. It was too simple to be the Lake...but when it came to oceans, it meant water. And unless he would be hopping on the next plane to Hawaii to look at the Pacific Ocean, he was pretty sure the largest source of water in the school was the Lake.
"Yes, I suppose you're right," Talon said, muffled by his knuckles that were placed right before his mouth. "The Lake would be the best place to start looking...and the other gem will be found when we get there...? And it'll stop Danawi and save us all?" He was very curious. Even more curious about the man who seemed to be behind all this. Yet he kept it to himself for now. Time was ticking out on the school's life, for Danawi wasn't going to wait. He would have to get the gem before Danawi attacked.
"But we're not going alone." He held out his arm, and closed his eyes. Within seconds, a brilliant red and gold firebird flew out of the doorway and perched on Talon's arm. "He's coming with us." Trajan nodded his plumed head to Aidana in greeting, though unable to speak.

She shook her head, not knowing what to expect.
"I'm guessing we have to start at the Lake. Didn't Jaspure fight at the lake also? It makes sense to me. That man who took me there especially pointed it out, so that could mean something," she said. Aidana stood up from the ground and walked towards the door. then suddenly a bird flew past her and landed on the Professor's arm. She smiled, phoenixes grew fast did't they?
