(it was a warm summer day, and joey was actually sitting at one of the tables, instead of his natural perch in the raftors of the great hall. next to him was a plate of juicy watermelon, seedless, and it seemed to glisten in the sunlight streaming through the large windows of the hall. the daily prophet was in his hands, as he skimmed through it intensely.) it's too hot for news. (he said as he flipped through the pages. then he came across the comics, and rested his eyes on the silly little pictures that moved on the paper...)

[Tekeru]

Walking around the halls Tekeru started to get hungry, he desided to stop at the Great Hall. When he got in the Great Hall he saw someone siting at a table with the Daily Prophet in his hand and a plate of watermelon. He licked his lips at the thought of watermelon, walking over to him slowly he sat down across from him.

"Um...Hello. Mind if I join you?"

Kasey was bored and tired from the heat. She wore her strapless red bikini top that was out lined with a light green and a short denim skirt. Her bare feet padded against the cool stone floor, her golden blone hair was pulled back into a ponytail to help keep herself cool.

She made her way to the Great Hall and pushed the doors open. Spotting Joey and Tekeru she smiled and walked up
"Hey guys what's happing?" she asked as she took a bite out of an apple its cool, sweet juice running down her throat.

[Serenity]

Serena walked in, a crisp white tank clung to her skin. She walked over to Joey and kissed his cheek, 'Morning love.' she said softly and sat down.

Serena smiled and rested her head on Joey's shoulder and yawned.

[Mina]

Mina wandered into the Great Hall lazily. Her long strawberry blonde hair was up in a loose bun, she wore an aqua coloured halter-neck that matched her eyes and short demin shorts. Her feet were bare, but lined with toe rings, and her naval sparkled as a periwinkle butterfly jewel dangled from it's piercing.

She ran a hand up over her forehead exhaustedly and made her way over to a table where a group of people stood and sat talking. She whisked a small jug of cool water off the table and simply tipped it upside down over her head, sighing thankfully as the cold liquid travelled down her body.

"Now that, was close to heaven." She laughed and threw the rest of the water on Kasey playfully, hoping she wouldn't take it the wrong way. Mina giggled cheekily and rushed around the other side of the table, watching for Kasey's reaction. "Water fight?" She said innocently, staring up at the Hufflepuff Prefect with a childish glint in her eyes.

Kasey stood in shock as the water was thrown over her. She blinked a couple of times then gave a smirk
"Oh you are so dead" she said looking at Mina.

[Mina]

Mina chuckled and flashed Kasey a cheeky grin. Ducking behind the table she darted around the other side of it, wondering how Kasey would get her sweet revenge.

Kasey took out her wand a gave it a small flick and a pitcher of pumpkin juice scilently rose from the table. She directed it over to where the girl was hiding, she made a slight semi-circle motion with her wand and the pitcher tipped up pouring all over the girl.

[Mina]

Mina let out a small scream of surprise as the cold liquid ran down her. She felt it slide past her cheeks and she stuck her tongue out, tasting some of it. "Mmm..Refreshing.." She giggled and stood up, shaking her hair and spraying everyone in teh surrounding area with pumpkin juice. She blushed, "Sorry.." Escaped her lips as she burst into a fit of giggles.

Kasey laughed and walked around to where the girl hid and held out a hand for her to shake
"Hello, Im Kasey, Hufflepuff Prefect and School Nurse".

[Mina]

Mina took Kasey's offered hand and shook it gently, smiling. "Nice to meet you Kasey, I'm Mina" She said, her latin accent rolling off her tongue. She let go of Kasey's hand and flapped it in front of her face, imitating a fan.

"It's really hot today.." She mumbled, knowing she had never really been any good with holding a conversation. She hardly had an interest in talking about the usual, where do you come from? What's your family like? What house are you in?...Instead she stood there, fanning the heated air in front of her, thinking of something else to say.

Kasey smiled to Mina
"Pleased to meet you Mina" she then let out a sigh and sat on a bench
"It sure is.....its too hot".

Mina plopped herself down beside Kasey and sighed also. "Y'know what?" She began lazily. "We should all go have a beach party by the lake..What do you all reckon?" She suggested, looking around at them for any sign of agreement.
