"Love is essential," Kasatzia suddenly said, squeezing the small hand in her own. "If not for family than for friends. It may be an inferior feeling, but it's one that we cannot live without. And we've lost part of our love, so we can tell you what it feels like to lose it."
She swallowed deeply, her delicate features almost contorted in pain for her loss as she shut her eyes and felt the whole realisation wash over her like an icy waterfall on a moonlit winters night. Her eyes changed underneath her lids, and when she opened them it appeared that her eyes were almost black from the deepness of the red they had turned.
"Let's just say... that it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all."

Whisper smiled fondly and squeezed her sister's hand. "Ah, Tennyson. He certainly did come up with some fabulous ideas... but who can say whether he was right or not. One person may never know."
Whisper sighed dreamily, considering the rapah's position. It must be strange to not have people bound to you by blood, close without desiring it so - even the Vampires and Lycans were bound in the same kind of kinship, using their blood to create their own family. She looked upon the rapah with a slight inkling of pity, though she would never convey it - most demonic creatures had a defined aversion to that particular feeling.
"I am not sure whether that is an advantage to you, or a shame," spoke Whisper delicately. "I suppose it depends whether one could trust another enough to let them in."
Pausing, Whisper sighed heavily. This... feeling Kaiser had caused her to have was weighing down on her. However, her body had not been made to feel, she could sense that it would not be long before it died away, lost in the eternal ravine between life and death.

Kasatzia spoke of love as if it were a matter of life and death. Perhaps it was. Perhaps Love held the key to life or death in situations. Lothani wouldn't know the difference, for she had always only felt for herself, only looked after herself. Maybe it was a feeling that was developed only in creatures other than Demons.
Again, Lothani wouldn't know.
But there was a certain essence that thrived through the sisters, she could tell of that. Kasatzia's eyes told of the love of her lost sibling, just as Whisper's had. What Whisper said was oh so right. Lothani had never trusted anything enough to 'let them in'.
"This true, Valkeries. Though, I'm not so sure that I will ever have enough trust for another being." the echoed voice that called her words was of deep in thought.
