ooc: I know this is so uber uber uber sad and pathetic, but at the moment I'm going through this thing and its making me miss the 'Amelia' part of myself...so I just wanted to do this.
ic: It was the early hours of the day: when the night slowly drifts into morning and the sky is magical shades of blue mixed with yellows, pinks, oranges...A heavenly sight.
Amelia had always promised to be there for her children and loved ones (what little good it did), and hadn't broken this promise in even her death. The young mother was constantly by her children's sides: she hoped that they could detect her presence and that it guided them to do good.
Having watched them over the past couple of weeks it had come apparent to Amelia that things were falling apart in the tunnels. The so called home was now just a terrioty: it was not welcoming to most lycans like it used to be-like it was to Amelia when she had just been turned.
In the entrance to the tunnels, against the sky a single white orb of light appeared, then another, and another, and more until slowly they formed the shape of Amelia. She was literally glowing: wearing a pure white dress, the nearly invisible being glided down the tunnels. Her hair blew behind her, and she wore a huge smile: she was home.
The main chamber was empty as far as Amelia could tell: the embers of the fire had now burnt out and were just smoking. Amelia decided now was time to go see her daughters, so she floated over to her old chamber, pausing outside the door before passing right through it...
There they were: her babies...Cealla and Alissa lying sleeping on her old bed. Amelia smiled softly, then moved closer to hear their breathing and watch them sleep. She felt so at peace.

OOC: Aww.....
BIC:
A sudden shifting of blankets announced his awakening.
Kage had stirred, sensing another prescence in the room, and sat bolt upright..... which brought him face to face with Amelia's apparition.
"W-what the?!" He stuttered in surprise.

OOC: Hope you don't mind my interruption, but I'm in the mood for a little um...action/comedy/something else...yeah.
BIC:
Xavier's eyes snapped open in an instant, his senses lighting up with something that he couldn't describe. His heartbeat raced, a cold sweat dripped down his brow as he slept in his bed with his son Sean fast asleep in his cradle. Something didn't feel right. The Lycan's eyes darted back and forth over the room, sensing something out of place. But he couldn't find anything! Frustrated, Xavier quietly got out of his bed and went over to his dresser, taking his time and very quietly dressing himself in his matte black outfit. If there was an intruder, he didn't want them to see him. Then, in a surprise action, Xavier went over to the large display case on the other side of his den and took out a key from around his neck. He slid the key into a lock on the display case and slowly turned it. The lock gave a barely audible 'click' and then opened as Xavier quietly opened up the glass doors and removed his katana from its stand. He tied the weapon to his belt silently and then walked barefoot over to the door, sliding it open gently. Not a sound was made. Good.
The Lycan scanned the hallway outside of the room carefully, sniffing quietly, hoping to smell the intruder before he saw him. Then his eyes spotted something out of place: the door to Kage's room.
No...please no. I hope they're all okay. I haven't heard a noise yet. Please say they're alive!
Xavier slinked along the wall of the hallway until he had reached the door to Kage's den. He quietly unsheathed his katana and held it up in front of him, using the polished steel blade as a mirror to peer inside the room. He saw Kage sitting up, a look of fright and surprise on his face. He saw Alissa and Cealla fast asleep. Then he saw something he didn't expect. An ethereal spirit floated before Kage. Alarmed, Xavier quickly made his move, kicking open the door and running into the room.
"Heeeyaaaaah! Leave my granddaughters al...oh...ne?" Xavier skidded to a halt as he found himself staring at the spirit of Amelia. Xavier dropped his sword in surprise, which made a dull 'thud' on the hard dirt floor. "A...Amelia?" he studdered. "Is that you?" he asked in a hoarse whisper.

Amelia smiled at Kage softly.
"Hello darling" she whispered.
Their reunion was soon broken by her lycan father bursting through the door, fully dressed in some sort of combat wear and brandishing a rather large weapon.
Amelia gasped a little, raising her hand to cover her open mouth. She then let out a laugh that sounded like the 'old' Amelia's except now it had more of a musical air to it.
"Hello, father: yes it is me. I don't think that'll do any good on me" she said waving her hand dissmissively at his katana. "Is that any way to greet me?" she teased.
Now looking between Xavier and Kage, then to her sleeping girls: Amelia's expression dropped to a saddened one. "I've missed you all so much"

Alissa's dreams were the same as they had been for a while. Vampires plagued them, the images from that night still fresh inside her mind. On the bed, she began to toss and turn, almost falling off a few times. Small, quiet whimpers escaped her muzzle as she slept. As one of them reached out to grab her, Alissa could sense someone who wasn't usually there in the room, someone who's scent hadn't been there for a while.
The vampire's hands were closing around her middle, and brown eyes opened wide with a yelp coming from her direction as she awoke, glancing around the room to check there was only Cealla and Papa there. Though seeing Grandpapa with a blade hadn't been expected.
An inquisitive look took over her face, and 'Lissa looked around the room. "What's going..." stopping, the little brown wolf saw... "Mama?" she asked, standing up a little shakily due to just waking up, but jumping towards her mother... before going right through her and landing in a heap on the floor. "Oof!" she whined, rubbing her head with her paw. Looking up to the white lighted figure, Alissa tilted her head again. "Mama.. is it you?"

Amelia watched, as her youngest daughter began to jiffle: apparently due to a restless sleep, maybe even a bad dream. She went to stretch her arm out to stroke Alissa soothingly, but realised that she couldn't so drew her hand back in.
When Alissa woke, Amelia didn't say a word: wanting to see how she'd react when she spotted Amelia. She wasn't disappointed: Alissa seemed shocked, but pleased to see her mother.
As Alissa jumped towards Amelia, Amelia outstretched her arms once again: this time to catch her daughter, but it did not work. Alissa passed right through Amelia, and she felt a cold chill like sensation.
Turning around to face her daughter, Amelia's faced held a sad smile.
"Yes baby, it's me...Mamma." she said, her voice full of adoring love for her child.

As much as Alissa had seen death in the few short months of her existence, the childish hope had come back. The hope that her mother had come back, and they could all be one family again, instead of one that had become torn between life and death. Shaking her small head to try and get rid of the stars that were flying around her head.
"But.. how... when.. why... how are you here, Mama?" Alissa asked, managing to stand up giddily and make her way over to her Father, jumping on his bed and scrambling onto his knee, looking for at least a little comfort. "How come you haven't come back before, Mama? I want you to come back.... I...I...I miss you, Mama! Please come back," she whined softly, tears evident, even in her telepathic voice.

Tears began to roll down Amelia's cheek so fast that they looked like a stream. As they fell, they looked like pure drops of silver, the fell for a few seconds before vanishing into the air.
"Oh Alissa. I'm so sorry. I have been so selfish. I love you so. I watch over you everyday...and I am constantly by yours and Cealla's sides....please...don't cry?"

Night had come, and with the night came dreams. More often than not she was inflicted with the same dreams as Alissa; ones of the vampire attacks and of her mother and grandmother's deaths. But tonight was not such a night- she remained dreamless, simply drifting through the darkness through closed eyes. She had come in late that night and crawled into bed way after Alissa, not even noticing that her father was in the room before collapsing between the sheets. It was likely that she would sleep well into the day, due to the fact that she had no responsibilities or duties to fufill. In some ways she had grown to be similar to a cat, doing nothing but sleeping and roaming the whole day long.
She finally began to stir after she sensed that Alissa had awoken, gradually changing positions and attempting to work her way back into sleep. But there were voices all around her, forcing her to finally lift open her bleary eyelids to reveal a pair of blue, yet rather sleepy, eyes.
Xavier was there and looking rather hostile- that was the first thing she noticed. Her eyes then drifted over to her father's bed, which was, for once, actually occupied. And then she spotted her mother- or rather, the ghost of what once was her mother. Alissa was obviously crying and distressed, which made her quite annoyed. There was no doubt in her own mind that she missed her mother, but yet why did she choose to appear to them when she knew that it would only be upsetting?
'Hi Momma.' She sent, rather simply for a child who has not seen her mother in more than a month. Deciding not to follow 'Lissa, she simply curled up in the sheets and kept a wary eye upon the specter, having no unkind words for her.

Kage smiled faintly, her simple words bringing forth a flood of tender memories. "I missed you." He said softly.
Noting his daughters distress, he gently gathered her against his chest, "Shh Lissa', its alright." He soothed

Xavier sighed heavily and wiped his brow with his sleeve, then knelt down and picked up his katana, cleaning it off with his shirt and sliding it back into its sheath with a 'clop'. So Amelia had returned, at least for a little while. Interesting. Very interesting. The grandfather smiled and went over to an unoccupied stool in the room and sat down, leaning on his sword.
"It's good to see you again, too, Amelia. Your presence has been sorely missed. As you might have known, we've been having difficult times recently, what with the Vampire attack and all. My son, Sean, has not had any motherly figure to care for him and I fear for him as such. For a time, you were that figure. I don't think I ever thanked you for it," said Xavier as he bowed his head slightly. "Now the Tunnels seem barren compared to before, and I'm doing my best to fix that. Your eldest daughter over there is quite the little guard-Lycan (OOC: X.x...really bad pun...). She hasn't let a single person feel welcome here in a long time. She's so much like her grandmother," he said with a weak smile. "I can't convince her to let up. Maybe you can?" he asked hopefully.
As Kage comforted Alissa and Cealla laid there ignoring her mother, Xavier stretched and got up again, then bowed towards the group.
"You must have a lot to catch up on, so I'll take my leave now. It was good to see you again, my daughter. Stop by my chambers before you leave and we'll talk for a bit."
Xavier then straightened his clothing and retied the katana to his belt, then walked out the door silently and closed it behind him. As he walked back to his own room, a few stray tears fell down his face, dripping onto the dirt floor, leaving a barely-noticable trail.

Amelia was horrified by Cealla's reaction. Although: she should have expected it after how she'd left her daughters.
Turning to Xavier, as he spoke to her, she listened and nodded along, although all that was running through her mind was how selfish she was to leave...and then come back. As Xavier said his goodbyes, Amelia nodded and attempted a smile. "Thankyou father, for all you have done for me...and now my...the girls" she said, changing her mind half way through...after suspecting that Cealla wouldn't want to be called Amelia's.
Turning to Alissa who was crying, and Cealla who just seemed plain annoyed to see Amelia, the young mother regretted ever showing herself.
"I'm sorry. I shall go...you don't want me here...that is ok. Alissa be strong...I love you and I'm always with you...always. Cealla...I'm sorry I've hurt you...but you need to let people in...you need to feel the love...stop pushing people away..."
With that Amliea turned, her head dropping low and she began to glide towards the door.

Mentally, she blocked out her grandfather's words and averted her eyes. They locked quickly upon the stone wall, not having the heart to look at a single member of her family. They had all left her. It wasn't Alissa's fault that the vampires had taken her, so for that she was willing to forgive. But not for how her mother died, the way she took her own life with the silver. Didn't she realize that she had a family? As for her father, she could come to understand how he had needed time to recover from the demoness that had attacked him. But he hadn't even sent a single letter or tried to reach her, to allow the pup to stop worrying and know that he was still doing fine.
She slowly registered that Xavier had left the room, and turned to look at her mother as she was obviously about to leave. But not a single growl came from her throat- instead she simply stared. What was she supposed to do? How was she supposed to feel? It would be so unkind to hate her mother and let her go away again without so much as a single word, but she also couldn't bring herself to forgive her. Not now.
'Maybe someday.' She replied softly, dipping her maw out of respect for her mother and then curling back up in the sheets. Weariness weighed down her mind and dragged her back to sleep, another blissful state devoid of anything at all.

It had taken a lot of energy for Amelia to conjure her entity into a form that was visible to the human (and lycan) eye. The emotion strains of having caused so much pain in her daughters by just appearing before them, slowly began to take its toll on the young mother.
Clutching her invisible stomach, Amelia turned just in time to blow Kage, Cealla and Alissa a kiss each, and whisper "I love you, please forgive me" before her silvery form dissolved into thin air. The only sign that she had even been there was the distant sound of Amelia crying.

His fingers opened and closed on empty air.
"A-Amelia." her name was a dry whisper through equally dry lips, like a revelation that comes after a period of stillness.
In esscence, her appearance had shocked him into a sense of apathy, one part of his mind seeing her, and feeling overjoyed. The other part, however, went into survival mode, putting a damper on anything Kage might say or do.
Now, now that she was gone again..... it was as if a dam had broken inside of him.
"AMELIA!" He cried hoarsely, tears streaming down his face.
"AMELIA!"
