Arella hesitated at the mouth of the tunnel, home of the lycans. Just by peering inside Arella could not see very much, the darkness seemed to engulf what ever entered. Listening carefully, Arella thought that her ear drums might burst: not because of a harsh sound, but instead due to the severe lack of it. Silence.
The night appeared so lonely. Arella had spent the whole day avoiding people, and now it appeared every being was avoiding her, as not a soul could be seen nor heard.
The single cloud, that littered the otherwise clear night sky, slowly drifted in front of the beautiful, full moon, blocking out the only source of light. Raising her hand, she held it before her eyes and squinted, slowly as her eyes refocused, she could make out her hand's slender form.
Arella looked around, nervously. She wasn't sure that entering the home of the lycans was a wise decision, but Arella didn't know what else to do. She could feel something bubbling up inside her, all her joints ached and her face felt like it'd been punched numerous times. She felt like her bones were reshaping, and that they didn't fit her.
The first full moon, she'd heard, would be the night when her body would accept her new lycan identity: it'd transform. Arella was petrified of being alone, but felt like she could not allow herself to change amongst other students.
The reason Arella had come here was plain and simple: she needed acceptance; she needed to feel safe and loved. At the moment Arella felt like a misfit: having only been at the school for a short while, Arella had made few friends. She felt so alone.
Arella finally took a deep breath, beads of perspiration rolled down her back and a few down her face: her nerves threatened to take over her at any moment. Taking the first step is said to be the hardest, but Arella found this untrue as she made her way further and further into the Lycan's Tunnels.
The atmosphere inside was as dark as it had appeared from the mouth of the tunnel. It weighed heavy on the blond girl, and Arella sensed much pain and loss had appeared here recently.
The slowly transforming girl stood waiting for the arrival of an inhabitant of the tunnels. Clutching her stomach, her eyes growing watery, the effects of the full moon on Arella's body was soon to change her forever. She just wished that someone would help her through this scary time...
ooc: sorry it rambled on and is a load of rubbish >.<

There's no place like home... Alissa thought to herself as she leapt up onto the bed in the den she shared with what remained of her family. Though... Cealla wasn't in that evening. It seemed to be that way a lot nowadays.
Sighing, the little brown wolf folded her paws underneath her muzzle and closed her eyes, ready to settle down for the night. She had forgotten comforts like this existed. However her routine to doze off was shattered by an unknown scent making it's way closer.... and closer.... it was going towards the main chamber.
Vampires, again? Alissa asked herself, jumping down softly off the bed and pawing her way silently into the main chamber, there was no figure to be seen. Yet, the scent was stronger, and it definitely wasn't one of those evil vampires.
Instead, it smelt of Lycan.
Someone new to play with!!! Alissa thought silently, keeping in the shadows as she headed down the entrance chamber, quickly noticing a blonde girl looking uncertain. Giggling to herself, 'Lissa jumped out of the shadows and pounced on the girl, so she fell to the floor.
Grinning as much as she could, as a wolf, Alissa sent to her: "Hello! Who are you? Have you come to play? Can we play hide and go seek? I'm really good at it!" Her tongue lolled out and her tail wagged excitedly as her words appeared in the other girl's mind, and Alissa stayed on her stomach, and vowed to, until she had an answer.

Arella had been watching the floor, concentrating on not falling over from the growing pains, when the young brown lycan sprang from no-where and pounced at her, making Arella topple over and land in a heap.
"Ooof" she complained, looking about quickly, her whole body tense with fear...until...she spotted the little female lycan, who was jumping about, her tail wagging.
Soon, Arella heard a cute voice enter her mind delicately: the voice of a youngster, and Arella wondered just how old the lycan before her was.
Unable to talk telepathically just yet, Arella spoke aloud, her voice blurred by shakes and heavy breathing:
"No-no...I can't play...I'm in too much pain...sorry...could...could you h-help me?" she pleaded.

"Pain?" Alissa repeated, tilting her head to one side. "What's wrong? Do you have... a headache, or something? I can go find Grandfather, if you want! He's good with this kind of thing!!"
Boucing off the girl, Alissa's eyes turned more concerned than playful. "I can't help you up, though..."
ooc: Sorry!!

Arella remained on the floor, brought her legs up to her chest and held them, screwing up her eyes tight, her face drained of all color, Arella began to shake from the intensity of the pain.
"Puh---puh---please" she stuttered "Its...hurting...wor--worse"
Letting her head drop back onto the dusty, hard ground of the tunnels, Arella began to panick more and more...what if she died here tonight?

Aridan followed her scent it was much like his own with very few differences. He found his self standing in front a place that held Rayne's scent but only faintly as if she had not been there is weeks. He walked down the long stone pathway into the main chamber it is were he saw Alissa and Arella.
"Arella." he said his voice echoed her pain as well. They were both changing and what was worse their pain was multipled by two. He stumbled a little as a sharp pain tore threw his changing form.
"Arella please don't run off." he said kindly to her his ton hiding the pain that remained deeply hidden in his voice. "I know this hurts sissy but it will pass Rayne swears it will."

What's going on?! Alissa thought to herself, taking a few shy steps backwards. She had no idea what was happening (being a born Lycan), and looked between the two. Rayne? She knew that name from somewhere...
Brown eyes darting between the two, Alissa began running back through the chambers, shouting telepathically as she did so. "Grandpapa!!! Anyone? Help!!!!!" Hopefully, she could find some help for the two, both of whom looked in pain.

It was just simply one of those nights that Cealla felt like being out and about; she had been roaming the Tunnels while allowing her newly returned sister to rest. The full moon had seemed to affect her in odd ways, mostly by simply making her feel more like being alone than around her lycan family. That was an urge she felt a great deal lately, however it was especially strong around the full moon. She didn't quite know why, but perhaps it brought out her urge to be a loner, hunting and fending for herself as best as possible. Hence the black wolf pup was usually impossible to find around this time, mostly off wandering around the lake or deep inside the Tunnels.
But suddenly a strange scent drifted to her nose, coupled with another odd smell. A growl instinctivly built in her throat- lycans. Different lycans, ones that didn't belong here. And then her sisters cries for help came, driving the young lycaness out of hiding and into a full sprint towards the tunnel entrance.
Instantly, she threw herself in front of 'Lissa and let out a long growl. She didn't know who these strangers were, but she had let people take her sister once. It wasn't going to happen again, not on her life. All of her fur raised menacingly as she growled, advancing on the changing lycans with a growing ferocity.
"What are you doing here?" She said, her eyes mere slits as she let out a few barks, hoping that Xavier was nearby. "Don't you DARE come near my sister. And you'd better leave. Now. I don't care what your problem is, I don't care why you are here. Just leave."
To emphasize her words, she lunged towards the girl and came within inches of tearing off a large chunk of flesh from her arm. Nobody was going to just come in here like they owned the place. She didn't care if they were lycan or human, but this was what she had to do. Defend.

"No!" Alissa called out as she ran back towards the passageway in time to see Cealla jump in front of her. It took a few seconds for her to skid to a stop, almost knocking over her sister. "Don't! They're hurt, Cealla! We've got to help them!" 'Lissa pleaded, stepping slightly adventurously in front of her twin.
Going up to the girl, and licking her hand comfortingly, doing as best she could, nuzzling her arm in an attempt to try and get her to move. "Come on..." the brown wolf pup sent, her eyes as pleading as her tone. "Please get up.. it'll be okay... I promise... Please get up! I'll help... please!!!"

Hurt? Well, of course they were hurt. They were changing. She could scent that they were Rayne's "children", in a sense, hence she knew that she couldn't keep them away from here forever. But, for now, she would make sure that they stayed out. For now, and hopefully forever. Rayne's exact status in the pack was something Cealla had never known, but she did know that the she-wolf wasn't here with her changelings right now. So they must have run away from her...
"No!" She replied, letting out another loud bark and nudging her sister away from the girl. "Let Xavier come and deal with them. Until then, they can wait outside until he passes judgement on them. It's not out place to make choices like this. We don't know who they are! Didn't you learn anything from the vampire attack?"
She knew that she shouldn't speak so harshly to her sister, but it was true. These two lycans were strange to them. It could just be a trap, a trap she didn't want to fall into.

She'd brought up the vampire attack.
To begin with, Alissa was about to protest and say that they should help, but eventually, she ended up slightly behind her sister, her eyes almost apologetic, but knowing that Cealla was right. If they were Vampires, she didn't want to end up in the same situation she had done before.
Shuddering at the memory of it, Alissa let out a quiet whimper and took another step back, wondering what Xavier would say. Her mother had always tried to stop her going to greet strange people... why hadn't she taken any notice of her?
You took some notice, 'Lissa... stop being such a baby! she scolded herself, her tail dropping between her legs as she lay down and waited to see what the reaction of the two would be.

Aridan moved to Arella and checked on her he could care less about the pups running around. He glared at the one who attempted to bite Arella "Don't you ever try to touch her,." he said coldly taking a page from Rayne's book "We will leave you stupid git." he said lifting his sister onto his shoulders and began to head toward the door, the pain racing threw him with every step.

She tried to stay.... really... she did.... and yet...
"No!!" Alissa called out, leaping to her feet and rushing to follow them, catching up with them quickly and standing in front of them, her eyes wide. All she had wanted to do was make friends, and now... now the boy thought they were stupid?
"She's just... tired," Alissa explained, glancing back at Cealla, knowing she wasn't going to be happy with the move she had made. "My Grandpapa is in somewhere. He can help! Please stay... even if it's just there. Cealla's barks worse than her bit. Please?"

"I'll go!" Alissa volunteered. "Stay here, I'll go and find her! I think I know who she is! I'll go."
With that, the little brown wolf ran out of the tunnels, sniffing around everywhere for an at least vaguely familiar scent. Rayne had to be around somewhere. Quickly she sent back to the boy: "And don't call me child again."
