Ooc: Is it day or night? Raven-Skye said night, Cealla said day? ~is confused~ Oh, and Raven-Skye, I believe Rogue and Raven met a long long time ago, like Rogue and Paige. They're very distant aquaintances, and sorry to ruin the moment! Ic: It wasn't at all like her to kill the moment, but she did. "Sealla died." Came a voice, close to quaking with the information it bore. Rogue had been listening carefully, from within her den in the tunnels, her two pups close by her side. Those violet eyes were now shaded with grey, and a hood was pulled up high over her stark-white hair, casting her features into shadow. She looked like death herself, far more depressed at least. Leaning sideways against the tunnel wall, Rogue lifted her smokey gaze to the lycans, and Hayzie, taking each in turn to acknowledge with a brief nod. When she saw Hayzie she considered questioning the wheelchair, for it was a shock indeed, but Rogue's attention was first on delivering the information they all deserved to hear; whether Kage wished to release it or not. She stepped forward, letting a long cloak of black skim the ground by her heels, her pale skin a contrast to the gloomy shade. Her arms were crossed, and although she looked beautiful, she felt ugly and torn to pieces inside... With teary eyes, Rogue met Raven-Skye and continued speaking, airing her soft voice to Paige as well, seeing as she clearly didn't know the news either. "Sealla died, while giving birth to a stillborn daughter, and a healthy son." Rogue paused, letting it sink in, then she inhaled steadily and continued. "She was thought dead, but now resides with her mother, Chailyn, in the forest, very much alive." Rogue finished, considering adding 'and well' on the end, but deciding some might argue, so it would be best to keep peace on such a hard note. A silent tear slid down Rogue's soft cheek and she hastily brushed it away, blinking away others, before sinking back against a wall, to slide down it and sit alone on the floor. Hugging herself through the warm cloak, she shivered, and whispered just one more word, before hanging her head sadly and letting the hood hide her face. "Sorry."

"KAGE?!" Amelia jogged through into the main chamber as she continued to shout "HAVE YOU SEEN CEALLA...SHES" skidding to a halt she blushed as she realised the chamber was full with lycans "...shes not in the chamber..." Looking around she noticed the black pup, and sighed quietly with relief at knowing that Cealla hadn't ventured out of the tunnels again without permission.
Standing behind Kage now, she smiled at the other lycans. "Quite a gathering we've got here..." her voice happy and cheerful, until the depressing atmosphere hit her like a slap in the face. Immediately she knew what was going on. "you're talking about Sealla aren't you?" she asked them, not needing them to answer, as the looks on their faces said it all. "I'm sorry"
She then noticed that two of the lycans were unfamiliar to her, but decided that now wasn't the time for introductions: as they'd probably just heard some news which would have made them sick to their stomachs.
"Well, she's not dead, not anymore at least. Shes alive and well, if you can call it that. she's in the forest, however she's changed dramatically...its like it isn't Sealla..." she trailed off, knowing that someone like Rogue, who Sealla loved, would be able to explain it better.

Rogue jumped as Amelia came running through the tunnels, yelling at the top of her lungs. It made Rogue nervous, to hear a voice raised so loud, but she calmed when Amelia broke her tone and silenced herself. But the next thing she said caused Rogue to choke back more tears, and she raised her head, frowning.
"She is Sealla." She whispered quietly, before dropping her gaze under the hood once more.

ooc: Since I replied in this thread before searching her out in the forest, I'll play the ignorant card..
IC:
"Oh." was all that sounded from her lips.
Emotions warred inside her, reflecting in the gold surface that was her eyes. It just didn't sound possible. Sealla couldn't die from something like childbirth, she was too strong for that. And her poor daughter, dead before she had a chance to live. And her son. If she was off gallavanting in the forest, who was his mother now?
"..however she's changed dramatically...its like it isn't Sealla..." As her thoughts calmed slightly, the last of Amelia's words penetrated her nulled mind. She agreed with Rogue; Sealla would always be Sealla. No matter what happened to change some aspects of her personality, she was still the same old her.
"Well, I don't care how changed she is, so long as she's alive and kicking." she finally managed. Moving towards Rogue, the most despodent, she placed a hand on her shoulder and squeezed gently. She could imagine what the lycaness was going through, thinking Sealla dead then finding out otherwise. Losing a (soul) sister, finding her again, only to lose her once more.
ooc: No worries, mine's is equally crap-ticious. Too early too think..

Amelia grew angry, not the first time it'd happened recently.
Directing her stare and words towards Rogue she almost spat out: "You say its the same Sealla? So, in your opinion Sealla has always been a heartless animal who'd tare a friend, like Hayzie there, to pieces, leaving her in a wheelchair?" she said as she pointed towards the blonde.
"NO." She screamed out "Sealla would never have done such a thing. Sealla used to protect those who she cared for, not maul them. I know you've been into the forest to look for her, as have I, Xavier and Kage and probably a few others. Maybe you received a warm welcome and hugs, but I didn't. We fought. We injured each other. You know why? She doesn't love me." Her anger ridden eyes suddenly lost all of their rage and saddened as she repeated the last words: "She doesn't love me"

Kage turned, gently encircling Amelia with his arms and pulling her gently to him. "I know sweety." he said softly. "I know." One of his hands gently stroked her hair, attempting to soothe her.

As Paige walked over to her, Rogue raised her eyeline a little, catching the golden eyes of the other lycaness just before she placed her hand upon Rogue's shoulder and gave her a reassuring squeeze. Instinctively, Rogue slid her own hand up to touch Paige's and held it there a moment, before Amelia's ruthful words caused the stark-haired woman to rise to her feet sharply.
"How dare you." She growled, narrowing her shocking gaze at Amelia, full of hurt. The thought of Sealla tearing Hayzie apart, the cause of the wheelchair made Rogue turn her head momentarily to the blonde, before snapping it back to Amelia, eyes swarming with betrayal. To this, Rogue didn't answer, she just exhaled a quivering air.
"...Maybe you received a warm welcome and hugs, but I didn't. We fought. We injured each other. You know why? She doesn't love me."
Rogue approached Amelia with sudden speed, one stride and she was nose to nose with her niece, amethyst eyes now full to the brim with furious tears. "Now ask yourself why, what was the first thing you said to her?" Rogue snarled. "Then ask yourself, why you fought back." She growled through gritted jaws. Rogue's face now faded to a weak expression and she stepped away from all the lycans, her vision blurred completely now.
"And finally, ask yourself if you love her enough to hold her in your arms, roll your emotions out on your tongue to her, and instead ask her if she is alright. Ask yourself if you even tried. Did you smile at her once, tell her you missed her so? Did you have the will to fight back when she attacked you? Could you see the pain in her eyes as she struck you down?..." Rogue's lips trembled suddenly and she broke down, resulting in a convulsion of hysterical sobs.
"Did you tell her the moment you saw her, that you loved her?" Rogue whimpered softly, before an apologetic look crossed her features and she fled towards her den.

Kage's eyes rose to meet Rogue's. Many different emotions swirled within their dark depths: sorrow, anger, resentment, pain, etc.
"Could she see the pain in our eyes when she struck out at us? Could she see the pain in our eyes when she struck the first blow?" Kage's grip on Amelia loosened now as he calmly stood toe-to-toe with Rogue.
"Could she see the pain in our eyes when she threatened my nephow, Xavier's son." Kage asked, his voice now deathly soft.
"You tell me."
When Rogue abruptly broke away, Kage blanched. Somehow, her breakdown of emotion compelled a response.... but a different response than one might think.
"Take care of her." He said to the others, and swept back into his chamber. He emerged again, dressed completely in black, as usual, "I have to do something now, if not for myself, then for all of us. I'll be back as soon as possible." Giving Amelia a quick kiss, he exited the chambers.

Amelia was hurt that Rogue had such a low opinion of her, and after Rogue had shouted at her and fled, Amelia pulled herself free of Kage, and followed the blonde female to her den.
She stood at the door, it was obvious to her that they were both upset, but the young brunette was jealous and angry with Rogue, so she had to have her say to explain a few things.
"Yes I told her, you didn't think I would? You think I went into the forest to fight? You think I wanted to hurt my lycan mother, the person who gave me this life, and protected me, the person who I love? Do you?" her voice was unsteady, as if her tears would soon consume her once again, but she tried to push them back.
"The first thing I told her was that I had missed her, and I also told her that I love her. It goes without saying, but I still told her, and I told her that we all love her." she paused, as if just saying the next thing caused Amelia physical pain: "She was the first one to attack, I had to retaliate to save myself, I begged her to come home, but it was obvious she didn't care. I heard her thoughts, she only loves you and Chailyn." Amelia clutched her chest as if admitting it allowed had ripped her heart to pieces.
"I fought her because I wanted her to come back, and she wasn't about to come, I had to bring her home, don't you see? She's clouded by the forest, it's consuming her and she cannot think past it. She needs to be freed from the forest. I thought I was helping. I know you think this is my fault, and that I was a b***h to fight her, but even though you got a warm welcome with hugs, a lot of us didn't."
She felt like she was betraying her mother, and the pink-eyed girl wanted to run from them all to be sick, but she remained where she was, only to throw her head back and hit it hard on the wall: she was so confused by everything that was going on, and she hated not being able to help.
Her eyes, begged and pleaded with Rogue to at least try and understand her point of view.

And so this was what had happened in only a year? The tunnels no longer needed the forest to tear their bodies to shreds, and their hearts to pieces, with sharp claws, and icy words; it seemed they had become self-sufficient at such things. Raven's mahogany eyes flickered to Hayzie, 'So it was Sealla?'; the thoughts wandered across her head. Though her gaze remained on her friend, she flinched at the cold words being thrown back and forth across the room. "Neither of your accusations towards each other are going to get either one of you anywhere," Raven said quietly, not even sure if they would hear her, but for some reason her voice wouldn't go any louder. Maybe it was the pain in her chest , maybe it was her over-whelmed mind, maybe it was that fact that thing had happened in reality that she couldn't even imagine in her over-active worrying. The words thrown between Rogue and Amelia gave Hayz the shivers. Please don't bring me into this, the blonde thought to herself despairinly as Amelia mentioned what had happened. How her brown haired friend knew, Hayzie wasn't quite sure, but it was out in the open now.
As Raven's question echoed in her mind, the Gryffindor girl simply nodded in answer before looking around quickly. "I'd better be going," she whispered, taking the breaks off and spinning her wheelchair around with some amount of difficulty. It was something she hadn't quite got the hang of yet.
"Welcome back, Raven," Hayzie almost sighed into her friend's mind before leaving the scene. In all honesty, it shocked her that this was what the tunnel lycans had been reduced to.

They could all be right.
Rogue knew, the other lycans were so sure of what they were saying, but so was she. Curling up against the back wall of her den she glanced over at her pups, shielding her crying eyes from their view and thinking hard about what was going on. She had meant what she said, and only now did Rogue realise they had meant what they said too.
What Kage said to her had cut deep, and she could've slapped him just to know it would give her a moment to breathe. The only thing stopping her from doing so, was that he was only saying what he thought, as she had done only moments before. They had listened, so she would too.
Cradling her knees in her arms, Rogue avoided Amelia's eyes as she entered the den, burying her face in her crossed arms with force. Rogue was shaking now, and her stomach spun vertigo through her head, making her feel sick. Looking up through blurred eyes she covered her mouth, holding back the sickness, and then she choked out one word. "Stop.." And she took a deep breath and crawled to her feet.
Making her way over to Amelia, Rogue grasped her niece's shoulders and pulled her into a tight embrace, lacing the fingers of one of her own hands in Amelia's delicate brown locks. "I'm so sorry Amelia..." She sobbed softly, crying onto her shoulder. "I really am." She added quietly, before being caught up in more tears.
She knew that they were also right, she just couldn't bring herself to admit it...

ooc: whoah...you made me cry Rogue -wipes tears and acts if nothing happened- ic: Amelia had been hitting her head continuously on the wall, as if to try and knock some sense into herself: hopefully this was all a bad dream...no...a nightmare. Suddenly she was pulled down to Rogue's level on the floor, and embraced tightly. Amelia's arms remained by her sides for only seconds but wrapping themselves around Rogue and hugging tightly. Hiding her face in Rogue's shoulder she began to sob, the force of her crying making both her and Rogue shake. "I can't do it. I need her, you need her. Please...make her come home?" she begged her aunt.

Footsteps echoed throughout the tunnel's quiet tunnels, only the sounds of soft voices could be heard from Morgana's sensitive ears. With curousity, she wondered what the pack was up to...why they had gathered. Her silver-like fur shined in the candle light, she walking closer to the group. Her honey colored eyes glowed in the darkness to see figures together. It seemed they were upset..Sealla....
She sighed softly, it would be hard for the Tunnel lycan to try to move on without their Beta. Many often looked up to her, as a friend, lover, or mother. But before she could speak, a familiar lycan was crouched in with the group. It was quite odd...though she could see familiarity, she couldn't quite see who it was. Coming out from the darkness, she revealed herself to the lycans...The figure becoming clearer with every step.
"Raven-Skye?" Her voice spoke. " Could that really be you?" She asked. She walked closer to the lycan, a small smile crept upon her lips. Before the lycan could reply, Morgana spoke once more. " It has been quite a while, my friend."

Raven gave the blonde Prefect a nod, guessing how uncomfortable Hayzie must've felt. As the lycan turned her mahogany gaze back to the group she wasn't quite expecting to see Amelia locked in Rogue's embrace. Sealla had touched the lives of the Tunnel Lycans like few could. The midnight-haired lycan wasn't surprised.
Though as a familiar scent echoed through the room, and a familiar voice sounded off the tunnel walls, Raven's sentiment was interupted; Morgana was here. Her bright-eyed gaze turned quickly to look for the sight of her old friend.
"Yes it has, it's wonderful to see you again Morgana," Raven said a jubilant smile attacking her lips, "How are things?"
