All was quiet. Not a sound escaped the tunnel atmosphere. It seemed as though there was nothing before him, nothing exotic, nothing surreal, nothing… different. But this was where she had lead him, and this was where he would go.
He passed through the trees and shrubs surrounding the mouth-like entrance easily like the shadow he was, and let his coal paws lead him down the tunnel, their resounding clicking noise calling out his arrival. But his blunt claws weren’t the only ones entering the Tunnels.
Once he had padded down the entrance tunnel, he paused and let his nose take in the many other Lycan scents that were riddled around the room. Males and females. A pack, just as she had said. And a very tight one too. Logan stepped aside, to let the contrasted white she-wolf pass him. She didn’t move for a few moments. Is this the place? his deep voice asked as his head turned to face the female, one ear facing her, the other twisted backwards listening out for any sign of life.
The one listening out was almost torn in half horizontally, and some tufts of black fur were missing. The other scars were one on his right eye (his actual hawk eye was left undamaged) which lead to his right cheek, and the other a deep gash on his left rear flank.

A pair of burning orange eyes flashed from the shadows as they saw one Lycan that belonged...and one that did not. A silver, brown, and black wolf stepped out of the shadows.
Who are you, stranger? he asked defensively.
The newcomer was battered and beaten. It was a sad sight to see a Lycan harmed in such a way, even though the orange-eyed Lycan did not know him.

Trailing behind him she let her nose catch the familiar scent of the tunnels. Weaving through the trees after him she let his bushy black tail brushed across her muzzle and she smiled inwardly. Her placid paws touched the ground with pride, familiarity and beauty. Her ghostly figure remained the same, however now, Rogue appeared well fed, strong and...Something else.
The she-wolf lulled her head lazily as she walked, her lilac eyes sparkling with a starry gaze in the shadows and moonlight of the night. It was the month's full moon, a lovely night to return to the place she loved so dearly, and the lycans...Oh, the lycans.
How she was looking forward to seeing them all again, and introducing them to Logan. While she drifted into thought about how they'd react to the news she had, the shadow before her stopped, causing her to just jerk her head up before she walked right into him.
Yes... She replied quickly, eager to enter the warm, cosy place. Brushing past him and running her chin over his right flank gently, Rogue moved onwards into the tunnel, ahead of him. Now she led the way, her bushy snow-white tail held confidently behind her, guiding Logan with a pale glow.
Rogue couldn't bring herself not too...She smiled.
Home.. She whispered ever so silently through her mind. Her eyes still sparkled, despite the fact that the light was gone. In darkness she knew they would be happy to see her, she knew they would accept her. But she didn't...
All of this she hoped, she prayed that it was so. And what of Logan? She would soon see for ahead she could feel the presence of one of the tunnel lycans...
Xavier
Rogue's ears perked up high and she had to hold her paws firm to stop herself from rushing over to him and hugging him in a warm greeting. He looked well, but also very defensive, and to this she lowered her head a little. Xavier, this is Logan, Logan, this is Xavier...Xavier is the alpha male here. Logan is...My mate. She swallowed heavily, feeling her insides shiver a little at an unknown feeling.

A few padded paws caught Logan’s mauled ear, and his head twisted back around in a flash. It was a silvery Lycan, a male. A male with a dominant stance. Perhaps he had an authority status here. His hawk eyes stared into the fiery ones of the silvery Lycan in almost a challenging way. Well, that was what most Lycans would think.
‘Who are you, stranger?’ he asked. But before he could answer, the white she-wolf spoke up for him, her loving tone echoing on the walls. His assumptions were right. He was an Alpha like Logan used to be. It was just something other Alpha could tell. The black wolf stood tall and proud as he rearranged his stance.
To other unknown Lycans if they were watching, they’d think that the two males would be a fair fight. Both of them were strong and tall for a Lycan, and they had that aura of dominance.
As Rogue said, I am Logan. A pleasure, Xavier, to meet such a high status in a first entrance. The first sign of recessiveness was the shadow Lycans head being lowered in a sign of utmost respect. Perhaps he could make a home here.

Smelling a new scent in the tunnels always lead to Amelia going for a little nosey, and she had just about reached the entrance when she caught a familiar scent: Rogue's.
Amelia ran at full spead to greet her dear friend for whom she had searched for when she had decided to leave.
Amelia spotted Rogue and flung her arms around her friend's neck, kissing her cheek repeatidly.
"You came back! Its sooo good to see you..."
It was then that she noticed Logan; Rogue's scent was all over him, but was faint. They were mates. Amelia grinned at Rogue mischeviously.
"Holiday romance?!" She now left Amelia's side and turned to stand in front of the male lycan. "I'm Amelia!" she said as if it was the answer to any questions.

Arsenic stay in the shadows. His eyes followed all fo them but he kept his mind and sent to himself. He was down wind of them, as their sent's blew to him. He remained quiet and unmoving.
Arsenic figured she would find someone but it still hurt just he same, as if a barb had been placed in the deepest depths of his heart then ripped out. He moved swiftly down the tunnel, to his chamber.
As he sat there he sighed and tryed to regain his composure. He would not be anger or hurt, it was never good to feel such things, he would once again lock his heart away but this time where noone could find it. He looked down at he floor and spoke souly in mind to Rogue 'Welcome back.' his tone was to normal to calm and to unfeeling to be his

Xavier laughed in his mind.
You give me too much credit, Rogue. There IS no Alpha male here. Morgana doesn't have a mate...last time I checked anyway. I'm just the lowly Beta male, and Sealla is my mate. She has a much more commanding presence than I do. All the same, welcome back Rogue, and welcome Logan. It's a pleasure to meet you. I hope you'll enjoy it here.
Xavier bowed down to the same level as Logan, then came up again. He laughed as Amelia gave Rogue a bear hug.
Now, now, Amelia. Give the two some space. Rogue hasn't been with us for a little while and Logan I'm sure would like the grand tour.

Before the black Lycan could catch the scent of a much younger wolf, the girl was all over Rogue. She had quite a young scent to her, perhaps only just recently turned. The brunette wrapped her arms around Rogue’s lithe white form, and kissed her over and over. Rogue was quite obviously loved very much by this pack. Why she left them, Logan didn’t quite understand, but no doubt in time he would.
His thoughts were sealed by the youngest Lycans words. But after a few moments, the little girl made her way to the shadowed Lycan. Hello, Amelia, he said fondly whilst lowering his head, I’m Logan.
There was another in the tunnels. One keeping to himself. Perhaps he was a close friend of Rogue… or maybe more. No doubt he had spoken to the radiant white wolf privately, but it didn’t matter to Logan much. So long as it wasn’t bad, he was fine with it. Rogue obviously had some past things to deal with.
His ears were caught by the more dominant male talking again, Xavier. Well, the role of Beta is not looked upon lowly, Xavier. The Alpha selects the Beta to make sure that if anything happens, the Beta can take care of the pack if need be. his words were kind, and supported by a gleaming smile within his hawk eyes.
They then traced around their home, examining the place a little more than what he had done in the first place. That would be good of you he replied, his scarred eye facing Xavier again.

There were four scents recognisable to the Beta Lycan, and another slightly familiar. But the strongest scent to Sealla – apart from Xavier – was… Her sister…
Rogue was back. As the woman raced down the tunnel entrance, her belly dancing costume flowed lightly behind her in the breeze. Upon reaching the group, the raven-haired woman didn’t stop, and headed straight for the white wolf. “ROGUE!!!” she screamed as she tackled the white wolf to the ground in a massive bear-hug. Like Amelia had done, she kept kissing Rogue’s muzzle and cheeks. “I thought I’d never see you again! We went out looking for you everywhere! We went to the Forest, Amelia and I, then we went to the Lake and the mountain!!” tiny pearls of joy began to seep from the corners of Sealla’s curtained cold blue eyes as she lay there with Rogue still in a hug. Rogue smiled inwardly at the respect Logan showed Xavier, she prayed they would get along, and so far, so good. But Rogue's thought's were cut short by an excited aura that burst through the she-wolf's senses. Then she saw Amelia running full-speed towards them and she braced herself with a grin for the impact.
Sure enough, Amelia enveloped Rogue in a huge hug and began kissing the she-wolf's cheek in loving repetition. Rogue barked happily and ran her leathery tongue along Amelia's cheek, closing her amethyst eyes in pure delight. Amelia!! Rogue sent through ecstatic telepathy, licking the girl again. It's good to see you again too! My you've grown into a beautiful young lady. She complimented, then felt her cheeks burning as Amelia questioned the 'holiday romance'.
Amelia stepped aside to greet Logan and Rogue's attention suddenly swivelled to a figure in the shadows. Arsenic! She thought, grateful to see him. The snow-white she-wolf then hung her head a little and lowered her ears sadly. Arsenic, I'm sorry...Please understand. You still mean worlds to me. She caled softyl through telepathy, watching him disappear into his chamber.
The guilty that flowed through her was aweful and she dropped to a sitting position. She knew this would come, but experiencing it was still terrible, and probably worse for him. As Rogue dwelled in painful guilt, another familiar scent swept the tunnels and Rogue felt her heart skip a beat.
Sealla...
ROGUE!! Came Sealla's voice, and the white wolf felt tears burn her eyes. Racing forward at Sealla, who was wearing a most beautiful outfit, they both toppled to the ground in a loving embrace and Rogue licked Sealla in deep emotion. Shh...It's alright, I'm back now, and I'm sorry. I love you, and I missed you so much. She cried in a whisper through telepathy.
Rogue's lilac eyes sparkled with tears, she had missed Sealla so very, very much, and it felt so good to be back...

After a seemingly endless few moments of embracement, Sealla opened her eyes to Rogue’s words. Still holding her, she removed her head from around Rogue’s neck and faced her. It was so good to see those sparkling lilac gems. “I love you. And I have missed you more than words can describe.” A thought got caught in her throat. “Will you stay with us this time? And since you have your mate there-” who’s a spunk by the way! “-please will you settle down and stay with us, become a member of the Tunnel pack?”
With another tight hug, and another few kisses of love, she added, “Will you take me up on my offer, dear Sister?” The two lay there, Sealla’s arms wrapped around the white wolf’s form.

Rogue couldn't stop crying, even in her wolven form, tears spiralled down her cheeks like a river. She sniffled quietly, which sounded like a sneeze in her wolven form, then Sealla sat up. Rogue leaned back on her haunches and listened to what her sister had to say. Pondering the thought for no more than a moment, the snow-white she-wolf knew her decision.
Sealla, you know me well enough to know I can't promise to be in one place forever...I would love to stay here with you, but, I cannot become one of this pack. I can't leave the forest behind and stay here forever...I'm sorry. She explained, rubbing her muzzle against Sealla's neck in a soft show of respect.
Rogue paused in thought for a moment, wondering if this was the time to tell Sealla something more, but she reconsidered and remained silent. It felt so good to embrace Sealla again, and deep down, Rogue couldn't understand how they weren't sisters in blood. She smiled and licked Sealla's cheek gently.

Like Rogue, Sealla’s cheeks were streaked with little droplets of tears, racing to her chin. Rogue had caught a few of them as she affectionately nudged Sealla’s neck. Again, her offer rejected, a stab was felt in the depths of her heart. Maybe it was the feeling of knowing one day that Rogue would leave her home.
Perhaps on that day, Sealla would join her. Only time would tell.
But a smile wrought itself across her lips as Rogue kissed Sealla’s cheek. It sealed maybe a few months of Rogue’s stay. But Sealla never knew for sure. Something caught Sealla’s thoughts though. There was something more to Rogue than met the eye. Though she didn’t seek any more, she knew Rogue would tell in time.
After being caught in the timeless moments with Rogue, Sealla came back to the real world and realised she hadn’t been introduced to Rogue’s mate. “So who’s your stud-muffin, Rogue?” she hinted, looking him up and down playfully.
Another thing caught her gaze. A hint of fiery jealousy sparked in Xavier’s eyes towards Rogue’s mate. After another embrace and kiss on Rogue’s top of her muzzle, the woman pulled herself to her feet, and jingled her way to her own mate, looking him up and down more than she had done with the black male. You’re my stud-muffin she lovingly said to Xavier. Her little bells rang and jingled as she strode to the forest-haired man in her little belly-dancing cossie. With an arm around his waist, she nodded and smiled to Amelia with a wink, and then awaited for Rogue or the male to introduce her mate.

From facing Xavier, his ears swivelled around to listen to feet thudding down the tunnel towards the small group. It was only a pair, and the smell of her grew stronger by the second. It was rather.. familiar..
The thudding feet belonged to a woman with black hair wearing a dance costume, and he watched her as she collided with Rogue. This would have been Sealla that Rogue had spoken so much about, the Sealla that the other man, Xavier, had mentioned. Now it hit him. This was the woman who's scent was riddled all over Rogue. The two females shed tears of happiness. Rogue never told him of any siblings, so it was possible that she was a relation to his mate.
Logan listened to their crossed words. Yes. Rogue had mentioned she had a place with the Tunnel pack. Sealla's aura, though slightly vague from emotion, spelt out authority just as Xavier's had. Though a slight bit more. Rogue declined from the invitation, and he assumed she had felt the same pain of declining as Logan had.
After quite a few minutes of silence, Sealla spoke up once more. If he were in his human form, he'd have blushed at the name 'Stud-Muffin'. Instead, he smiled at Sealla's compliment. But before he replied, the woman got up from sitting with Rogue, and strode slightly seductively towards Xavier. A message or two was probably passed to and from the couple, but it was hidden if so.
I'm Logan. A pleasure to finally meet you, Sealla. As she had done, Logan moved closer to Rogue, and ran his muzzle affectionately around her neck, then intertwined his contrasting shaggy black tail with Rogue's bushy white one. He smiled inwardly to himself from the welcoming response to his presence by the pack members.

Amelia stepped back to look at the new happy couple. Black and white...yin and yang...they seemed the perfect match. And Logan seemed to make Rogue happy and that is what was most important.
"But why can't you stay? Please please! We missed you so much...and Logan could stay too..." Amelia babbled and looked towards Sealla and Xavier to agree with her and say that they should both stay.
