"I don't 'blush', I just turn a manly-shade of pink." he answered matter-of-factly.
Grinning he slid out of the booth again before saying "Not it's time a provide us all with some entertainment."
Bouncing over to the small stage, he engaged in a short conversation with the people playing. After a few minutes they'd settled on a song and the background players began to play. As Brent grabbed the microphone bright green lights flashed in back of him stating that it was Kareoke hour. Winking at Hope, he began to sing:
As he sung he dance in place, waving his hands around exageratedly. At the parts of the song where a female was supposed to sing he made his voice extra squeeky and high pitched, though it sounded more like a mouse's squeel than a female singing. He was purposefully making a fool of himself, which wasn't surprise to most of the people present. Being a regular here meant it wasn't his first time on stage.
As the last word was sung, Brent took a low bow. Smiling at the clapping and laughing audience, he strolled back over to the booth. Leaning his hip against the table, he asked "So..do ya think I've got a chance at being the next American Idol?"
ooc: I promised to make Brent-y sing kareoke, and there you go.. XP
I was actually singing this song earlier with my sissy and cuzzy-cuz. X-)

"Listen, baby
Ain't no mountain high
Ain't no vally low
Ain't no river wide enough, baby
If you need me, call me
No matter where you are
No matter how far
Just call my name
I'll be there in a hurry
You don't have to worry
'Cause baby,
There ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you.."

..Remember the day
I set you free
I told you
You could always count on me
From that day on I made a vow
I'll be there when you want me
Some way,some how
'Cause baby,
There ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you
No wind, no rain
My love is alive
Way down in my heart
Although we are miles apart
If you ever need a helping hand
I'll be there on the double
As fast as I can
Don't you know that
There ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you
Don't you know that
There ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough...
I set you free
