OOC: Wow....this is the first post that I've ever had to say "invite only" on. ;D Hehe.
BIC: Faye walked down Diagon Alley, taking small yet firm steps. In her pocket lay a number of coins, ranging from some spare knuts and sickles to a few gallons she had left over from her last birthday. She didn't really go shopping much, but when she did it was always fun. This time she needed new robes, but was also willing to look for other things. Luckily her wand was in perfect condition, for she didn't want to have to go through the trouble of getting a new one.
She wandered aimlessly around, peering into the shop windows and spending a bit of time staring at the Firebolt in the window of the broom shop. She certainly didn't have enough money for it now, but perhaps someday she would. Sighing, she quickly dipped into the pet store and bought some treats for Auriel.
Carrying the small bag from the pet store, she wandered over to a bench that was ideally placed in a nice shady spot. It wasn't that sunny outside, but just enough to be annoying on occasion. Grinning, she leaned back into the bench and watched the people passing by.

Xavier wandered through the streets of Diagon Alley, peering into random windows. Anything he saw that he liked he checked the price tag on. Most were just a little too expensive for him. His father had made a significant amount of money while working for the ministry, and Xavier's mother had given him a key to use at Gringott's if he needed some more. He decided to head there for a little extra cash.
While walking there, he saw Faye sitting on a bench off to the side of the street. He walked over, cheerful to see someone that he knew.
"Hello, Faye! I didn't expect to see you here! I'm going to Gringott's to take out a little bit of money, you want to come with me?"

It sounded like a good idea. The goblins over there had always intruiged her and the thought of a ride in one of the cars used to take you to the vault was interesting as well. Standing to her feet, she smiled and nodded, shifting the bag of owl treats from one hand to the other.
"That doesn't sound so bad." She said with a smile, coming out from under the shady overhang. It would also be nice to get away from the sun for a while. The sunburned look never really was very cool, at least in her opinion.

Xavier smiled.
"Great! Let's go," he took her arm as he strode off to the bank.
When they arrived, Xavier handed his key up to the head goblin and the two of them walked to the nearest cart. Another goblin met them there and they began riding the cart down to Xavier's vault, number 350.

Her hazel eyes took in everything that went on around her, paying special attention to the goblins. What was it about them that so facinated her? It was an odd fascination, to say the least. Not one that she had inherited from her mother or her muggle father, but something that was all her own. She smiled at the thought of something being just hers, completely original.
The mine cart wasn't so bad, not even when it came to a screetching stop outside Xavier's vault. She had expected to be thrown backwards, or perhaps even sideways like the last time. Her pale face was illuminated very little by the lamplight, making her features almost unrecognizable.
"So.. I guess this is it." She said, pushing a strand of hair out of her eyes to get a better look at the place.

"Yeah...this is the one. My family's vault. I've never been in here. I wonder how much money is left."
The little goblin called out for the lamp and Xavier's key as he opened up the vault. As he opened the door and shined the light in, he had to turn it away to avoid being blinded by the glare of a mountain of gold doubloons, along with various knuts and sickles. Xavier's jaw dropped.
"Th...that...that's a lot...lot of...lot of m-...money..."
All in all, there was enough money in the vault to make Xavier one of the top 10 richest wizards in the world. Xavier couldn't believe that all of this money had been hidden away. He kind of wished that he had found it sooner.
"Erm...is that all mine?" he asked the goblin. The goblin nodded. It said, "Vault number 350 belongs to the Valoron family, next heir is Xavier, 17 years of age. That would be you."
A wide grin spread across Xavier's face. He had enough money to stay satisfied for quite some time.
"Come in here, Faye. Grab as much money as you can. Whatever you can carry is yours. I'm officially granting us a shopping spree!"
Xavier started stuffing his pockets with doubloons. This was going to be fun.

She gasped in amazement as the vault doors swung open. Expecting to find a few medium sized piles of galleons, she was greatly suprised to discover that Xavier was rich, at least by her standards. She walked in slowly, as if expecting it to disappear at any given moment. Reaching out, she ran her finger over one of the coins, discovering that it was cold to the touch.
"Thank you, Xavier." She said, grabbing a small pile and putting it into the pockets of one of her cloaks. "I never knew you were so well off." Judging by his reaction, she was kind of able to guess that he had never known either.
"So, where to first?" She was kind of thinking perhaps a robe shop, maybe some magical jewlery. That probably wouldn't interest him very much, but it was fun to her all the same.

A form suddenly skidded down a pile of galleons, nearly colliding with Faye and Xavier. "SHINY!" Kage shouted as he tried to dive into a pile of Knuts.... and failed, only managing to hit his head and slide slowly down the pile. "Ooh..... pretty colors." Kage said dazedly.

Scared almost out of her wits to hear Kage sliding down the money, she jumped nearly a mile. Whirling around, she watched him slowly slide down the pile of money. Fuming, she stored over to him and grabbed him by the shirt collar.
"If... if I were, perhaps, a little stronger, I would kill you right now." She whispered into his ear, then letting him go with a smirk.

Xavier's eyebrow twitched as Kage sat in his pile of money, dazed and dizzy. He grabbed the lantern from the goblin and ran over to Kage, bringing the metal case down over Kage's head. It sounded off with a loud metallic clang mixed with a muffled whack. The light inside the lantern stayed lit by the magic used on it.
"Idiot," Xavier grumbled. "Come on you oaf, get up and let's get out of here. We're going shopping and you can come if you want."
Xavier picked up Kage by the arms and began dragging him out of the vault as the goblin closed the door, locking the shiny goodness back inside.
"Hmm...to answer your question, Faye. I always wanted a broomstick. Let's go to the store. I think I have enough here for at least two Firebolts," he joked.

Kage groaned dazily, "Not yeeeeet. Akira Family Vault, please." He said, rubbing his head. The goblin nodded, and the minecart began to move. They traveled for several minutes, until they came to a small, insignificant vault door set far back from the tracks. If one werent specificially looking for it, they could easily miss it. Kage exited and looked at the door, "Vault 666?" Kage asked the goblin who nodded and said, "Akira family vault, as you requested, Mr. Akira." Kage nodded and fished a long silver chain from inside his shirt. The chain was looped through a large silver ring, which he slid onto the ring finger of his right hand. He formed a fist, and stuck his right hand through a dark hole and turned his arm clockwise, then counterclockwise, then clockwise again, then an almost full turn counterclockwise. With a series of clicks and thumps, the door opened.
Kage stepped through and into the musty smelling vault. Their was money in their, all right, a great deal of it, but what caught the eyes of the others were the treasures lining the walls. All sorts of ancient weaponry and artwork was scattered around, all with a recurring japanese theme. "My families vault." Kage said simply, waving an arm around.

She couldn't help laughing as Kage tickled her. That was just one of her weaknesses in life- she was very, very ticklish. Happy to watch him get bonked over the head with a lantern, she grinned as Xavier dragged him out. Yet she was a little suprised when they stopped at his vault, once again being amazed by all the treasures held inside.
"Wow... this is amazing, Kage..." She whispered, almost afraid of disturbing the beautiful Japenease artwork. She had nothing like this in her family vault, the key to which her mother held.

Kage grinned, "Its relics of an ancient time of our family. Perhaps you might see something from here sometime soon." Kage said with a wink. His eyes roamed over the swords, one of the racks which was noticably empty. He walked over to the coins and began scooping them into a pouch nonchalantly.

Xavier watched and pouted. "Showoff...666...fancy lock...Japanese treasures...jeez. How much more egotistical can you get?" Xavier strolled inside of the vault and looked around. It was a rather vast collection, spanning many ages of Japanese culture and history. Something in the corner caught his eye. It was a sword, but not just any sword. Sitting on an oak stand stained a glossy black was the most beautiful katana Xavier had ever seen. The saya was a mesmerizing shade of deep black with thin, red lines running all throughout it like lightning. The kojiri and the kurigata were both gold, and the sageo attached to the kurigata was a deep red color. The tsuba was a dark red color as well, styled with the symbol of an ancient Japanese family crest on it. Xavier wondered if it was Kage's family crest. The entire tsuka almost matched the saya, but the colors were reversed. It was mostly made of red cloth, and the cloth had somehow been woven with thin strands of black that made the tsuka seem almost like a spiderweb. The end of the katana - the makidome, kashiragane, and tsukakashira - were gold as well, matching the other gold portions of the weapon. Xavier reached out for the sword and carefully removed it from its stand. Grasping it firmly, Xavier pulled, bearing the beyond-razor-sharp blade. It was a well manufactured blade, extremely strong. There was a carving that ran along the shinogiji from kissaki to tsuba. It was in hiragana, and Xavier only understood a few words, so it was difficult to read. He ignored it and kept on examining the katana. The manouchi and hasaki were tempered, thus being lightly serrated. Xavier took a doubloon and ran it along the blade. When he was finished the sword had cut through half of it. Xavier whistled. Finally he examined the mune, which was sharp to an extent as well. Xavier didn't know that double-edged katanas existed. He liked this sword A LOT. He spoke up to Kage. "Hey, Kage. Mind if I keep this?" Xavier began handling the blade like a professional, swinging it around rapidly. He shook the katana a bit and mumbled. "Nice feel to it. I wish I had something like this." OOC: Don't know what I'm talking about? Go here. www.yamatanidojo.com/description_of_the_parts_of_a_ka.htm
