The faerie realm was one place in her year and a half at Magic Horizons that Chantelle had yet to visit. It had seemed strange to her how the territory of the other creatures of the school was out of bounds, and yet the faeries seemed to welcome visitors… or so she had heard.
One sunny Tuesday morning, however, Channy’s curiosity got the better of her. It had only begun as an innocent walk around the lake, but as she reached the realm, her grey eyes seemed to glitter with a curiosity that hadn’t been seen for a long time.
As she walked through, small voices could be heard in the beautifully coloured flowers that lined the path, the buzzing of bees sounded in her ears bringing a small smile to her face. It was as though she was in a completely different part of the world, and how she had got there was a complete mystery which wasn’t going to get solved quickly.

Though she was only small, her beautiful brown eyes took in every thing around the faerie. Grand trees and bees, loving flowers and ferns. Everything. But from what she had heard, there were not many faeries of this realm. Perhaps many students had said that they 'Didn't believe in faeries'.
This student, however, probably did, since she was so intent on watching the bright lights zoom past her from tree to tree.
In a shining surreal emerald light, the form of a five-inch tall faerie floated delicately in front of the girl's eyes, blinking wildly behind her human-made glasses. She had not known any magic that could fix her eye-sight, thus had to wear the two circles of convex glasses.
This would have been a student from the school not so far from her new home. With a bit of a flutter from her green autumn leaf-looking wings, the little creature floated backwards, and landed on a fern branch, studying the curious human girl.

Chantelle had blinked in surprise when a tiny figure flitted in front of her eyes, and stood back a little, her eyes widening slightly. She had only been in the realm for five minutes, and already she had found one, or rather… a faerie had found her. The bright green light had momentarily made her eyes squint slightly, but quickly, the tiny brunette girl got used to the light and was able to see inside it, as it were.
There, she saw the tiny figure’s bright coloured wings that reminded her of a nice autumn day, and the tiny glasses that rested on her nose. Channy smiled slightly but flinched as she flew backwards and stood on a nearby branch.
Realising that she had yet to say anything, the faintest “Hello,” left her lips. Her usual voice was barely audible, but the word that had shattered the near silence was just below a whisper.

The long, flowing brown tresses of the faerie bustled slightly around her little form, writhing and twisting around her little wings and limbs like tiny snakes to their siblings. Clearly audible to the faerie were the words of the girl, for her pointed ears could catch mostly anything.
The faerie's rose lips parted to accent the words in the sound remarkably a lot like a little bell on the collar of a domestic cat. "Hello."
That was all. Nothing more was said for the moment. Her knees bent at the crook, and her legs crossed, letting her sit daintily atop the fern easily, flitting her wings every now and again from habit.

So the faerie had heard her! Maybe they were like elves, something else Chantelle had read a lot about and was entreigued (sp?) by. Smiling slowly, her grey eyes lit up.
"I-I'm Chantelle," she stuttered, still in whispered tones as she was afraid if she spoke any louder, then the tiny faerie would get scared and fall off the branch.
And that was the last thing she wanted to do.

(ooc: lol *falls off branch* ) The girl, for a human, was very small in comparison to others she had met in her time. Again once, maybe twice, she blinked from behind those round lenses at the brunette. The faerie cocked her head to one side, as if not understanding what the human had said. But she did comprehend. "Good morning, Chantelle. What brings you here, of all places?" her voice rang beautifully, and echoed on the wind strangely, considering her size.

Lolitta's wings were a lot louder than those of the other faerie, purely due to the fact that they were torn and tattered from tip to toe. This little faerie was dressed in a slim-fitting dress, if one would call it that. A curl of material, peachy almost, against her creamy complexion.
It consisted of buckles and straps, here and there to tie and strap it on so it wouldn't fall off. There were also ruffles and frills around the trim and down sides, whoever had created had quite a natural flare for simplistic formality. And that, of course, was it's owner and wearer, Lolitta.
The tiny faerie was poised in the air behind the young girl, fondling a couple of strands of her chocolate coloured hair. Lolitta was quite fascinated with the flowing strands, for they were much thicker than her fair hair, which at present was tied back in two buns with two plum-coloured ribbons. She twirled a strand of brunette hair around her miniscule finger, widening her diamondlike eyes in wonder.

"Ohh!"
A soft squeel of frustration flittered through the air. Nearby, a small faery snatched at a berry hanging from a fragile flower. When she failed to grab the fruit, she stomped her little foot on the surface of the flower, her cheek tinged pink in anger.
The faery was no more than a few inches tall with long, bright pink curls. A silky fabric of a pale blue color was wrapped around her body like a dress, leaving her shoulders bare and covering only 'til her mid-thighs. Baby's breaths were strung together and tied around her upper arms and ankles.
Teetering slightly on the edge of the flower, she snatched and the plump berry. Though she managed to get her slim arms around the ripe fruit, she also lost her balance sliding down the petal towards the ground. Tattered wings of a pale pink color sliced through the air, stopping her about an inch from the ground.
A small sigh of relief escaped past rosy lips. Her caramel gaze finally took note of the student and the two faeries with her. Letting a warm smile cover her features, she flew over and landed on a nearby gardenia.
"Hello, would you like a pice of fruit?" she called out in a melodious voice, holding out the berry in offer. Though the berry was large for her and weighed her down, it'd likely seem too small to split for three to the human girl. Though Carmy was oblivious to that fact.

(ooc: Yay! More faeries!)
Her tattered, emeral leaf-like skirt bustled slightly in a very small breeze, one that only faeries - with their size - could pick up. Quickly, her slightly transparent white wings seemed to disappear as they flitted through the air, lifting the brunette faerie into the air.
Now there were three. One beautiful blonde faerie seemed utterly intoxicated by the child's hair, the other wioth bright pink tresses attempted to carry a berry through the air. The bright green glow followed Celox's little form to the pink-haired faerie, and placed her hands on either side of the fruit, helping take some of the weight.
All Celox wanted was a little fun, so quickly spied where the faerie had gotten her berry, and smirked cutely.

"Thank you" she said to the faery who helped her with the weight of the berry.
Holding it up right with one hand, she tapped it with the tip of her finger. The berry instantly split in half, so that Carmy carried one part and Celox the other. Motioning towards the student she said "If you could split that with her, I'll share mine with the other faery."
Splitting her half in half, she pointed at one piece with a finger. The piece of fruit dripped juice on the gardenia's as it hovered hesitantly, then it shot towards the other faery floating a hand's breath away.
Smiling slightly, she bit into the fruit, eating the piece surprisingly quick. Smacking her lips together, she licked the juice off her fingers. Her lips were now stained berry-red, and the tips of her fingers were pinker than normal.
"Can you please lend us some of your water?" she asked the flowers next to the gardenia's, leaning down on one knee towards them. The flower bent closer to her, before shooting out a fountain of water. The crystal liquid was cool and sparkly, and easily removed the sticky mess from Carmy's fingers. "Thank you" she said, patting the flower.
Straightening, she brushed away a strand of pink hair. Lifting her voice so the other faery and student could hear as well, she said "I'm Carmella, Carmy for short. And you all are?"

Lolitta was a little surprised as she heard a squeal flip through the air to her right. Startled, she slapped her wings together behind her back and darted away from the human girl and the other faerie, disappearing behind the large trunk of a tree. Slowly, her small figure could be seen re-emerging from behind the trunk and taking in the sight of yet another little winged creature.
This faerie offered the other three some fruit, and Lolitta watched as the faerie with the glasses flew over to offer assistance to the one now carrying a berry. Looking back over to the human girl, Lolitta's wide eyes softened a little and instead of a shocked look on her pinky lips, they loosened into a smile.
With caution, the blonde-haired faerie made her way over to the other faeries and the girl, her tattered wings flittering madly to keep her in the air. Suddenly a piece of the berry came flying towards Lolitta and she zoomed back towards the trunk of the tree, somewhat frightened that it would plow right through her!
Poking her head around the trunk with an insulted look on her face, she quickly straightened her face out into a thankful smile towards the pink-haired faerie, understanding now that she'd only been intending to give Lolitta the refreshment. Lolitta chuckled to herself and fluttered over to the berry, clasping her tiny fingers around it easily and flying over to hover before the girl.
"Thank ye' sugar but I ain't hungry. I be Lolitta, and the doll can have mine." She said sweetly, speaking with a rich and adorable accent, one that didn't seem to belong to any culture or country. It was unique and beautiful, just like the faerie that voiced it. Lolitta coyly outstretched her arms and the berry to the girl, widening her crystal eyes again as she studied her carefully.

The sound of voices woke Jesslin from her slumber on a nearby bush, patting the leaf she'd been resting her head on she took to the air. Swishing her black hair from her pale face, she watched in fond admiration as the leaf turned back to face the sun. Flitting round a tree like a finch, she stopped in suprise; three faeries and a human girl were gathered in a clearing along the realm path.
Looking closely she recognised the features of Celox, the faery with miniture glasses and long wild hair. Another had gleaming, pink treses and a light blue wrap-like dress who was offering pieces of a berry to the others. The last held a piece of berry to the human. Jesslin was astonished the tattered wings of the blonde faery could hold up not only herself but the berry as well.
Hesitating for a moment until the warm, inviting sunlight gave her courage, Jesslin flew under the blonde who had just named herself as Lolitta, and placed her delicate hands on the berry for support. Giving an encouraging smile to the human she introduced herself in voice no more then a whisper, "Hello I am known as Jesslin and you are welcome in the faerie realm!"

How wonderful it was to live in a home with many other faeries, let alone ones her size. It was so strange to see faeries human sized, as if they had been genetically modified or something. Before the faerie handed part of the berry to Celox, she raised her hand and pressed her glasses up the bridge of her nose, reassuring her shocking eyesight.
She nodded to the pink-haired faerie with a twinkle of a smile, and traced her finger around the half-berry, drawing an invisible line. The line soon brightened to an emerald green, and caused the berry to split in half again, letting its juices dribble over the faerie's fingers.
Her bright eyes focused on the student as she was carried to her nose, landing atop it lightly. Celox held out the other half of her berry as if it were a prize to the girl in offering, with the droplets of red juice dripping from Celox's fingers onto the girl's tip of her nose.
From on the girl's nose, the brunette faerie turned her head to face the blonde one, love gleaming from every inch of the tattered faerie. She was a rare one, for in brokenness was beauty. But abruptly another section of beating wings took her attention. It was the faerie from the library, staring longingly at the dagger. She smiled slightly. "A pleasure. I'm Celox," she replied, mischeviousness dripping from her tone.

Lolitta caught the blur of another faerie approaching, and her crystal-blue gaze left the human girl for a moment to take in that of the other faerie who called herself Jesslin. That faerie then sped over to Lolitta and caught the other side of the berry, helping her. Shyly, Lolitta let go of the berry and flew a few paces away from the group, blushing softly.
She wasn't used to big crowds, and even though this crowd consisted of small-sized figures, Lolitta was a little overwhelmed, and so hovered a few feet away with her hands clasped behind her back and her head tilted timidly downwards. Her pinky cheeks blended prettily with her lips now, and she smiled to show she didn't wish to offend anyone.
Her own fingers were still sticky with berry juice, so Lolitta flew over to a branch a little ways away from everyone and sat atop it like a feather on a bird. Carefully she lifted her fingers to her lips and with a match of pink cheeks, lips, and fingers, she began licking them quietly. Her small but agile, legs swung back and forward on the branch happily as she licked her fingers clean, the blush slowly fading from her cheeks as she concentrated on this task.

Chantelle had been silent for a while. Audiences scared her, even if she was huge compared to the faeries, the tiny girl by human standards had been a little nervous. Four faeries had shown up now, each of them unique in their own way, but all of them as pretty as the first who had found her.
That faerie was currently on her nose, holding out a quarter of a small berry to her. Channy giggled quietly as she took her tiny piece inbetween two fingers. "Thank you," she said, in a voice quieter than a normal whisper. The juice dripping onto her nose, and the faerie, who had introduced herself as Celox, were tickling her, and this caused the giggling to come back, still as quiet, and soft as before.
The blonde faerie who had been examining her hair before had disappeared out of sight, though her voice still carried over the air, and the other two, Chantelle hadn't had chance to suss anything out about them yet.
"I-I-I'm Ch-Chantelle," she whispered, introducing herself to the faeries.
