Mimiru's dark robes fell behind her as she walked up to the gate entrance of the graveyard, the moonlight hiding beneath the storm clouds above. Her slender fingers gently opened the gate, with an eerie creak she closed it behind her. The rows of tombstones were shadowed by the darkness as if angels were watching their own. As she watched on the crooked path, she sang a sweet serenade.
"As moonlit silver whispered through mysteries eyes And ravens seeded sorrowpaths in faded thine Thou hungered for lust and passion dark When sin stroke thy hands into bloodied mine"
The moonlight fell upon her pale-like face, her eyes glowing a hint of crimson red. As she looked around, she noticed hunched figures of the mourning looking at the recently dead of their dear loved ones. What weakness She thought. "Tis no wonder why humans are easy prey....
She continued on her way, the stars shining above as if mocking her very existance. She was a cursed creature, it was a fact proven, though she could not deny the liberation of freedom of vampire. Unlike the humans shackled by their own laws. She sighed softly and sat down on a tombstone looking into the distance, singing her haunting song.

The prefect sat perched upon a tombstone, her legs delicately crossed beneath her and her hair held back into two french braids. The night was still young to her- after being called a goody-two shoes by a new transfer student, she had come out here to think. It was so stereotypical of him to call her that, however it did give her cause for alarm.
Was she becoming one of those good girls? The kind that always followed the rules and never asked questions? No, that couldn't be her. It would never be her. Being a prefect would not change her taste for adventure.
Or had it done so already? Most of her adventures as of late consisted of keeping students out of the forest and the occsional venture into the tunnels for a quick and usually harmless visit. She didn't like going there too much. It would set a bad example for other students and she did not want to abuse her friendship with the betas.
But the thing for tonight was that she was out here, all alone and completely unawares. The darkness was like a cloak to her and she was unable to even see beyond her own hand. Her other senses were not thus affected.
"Who's out there?" She said in a commanding tone as soon as the first strains of the seranade reached her ears. Perhaps it was another student like herself.... or maybe it was something more.

A pressence was amongst her, not one of the mourning visitors but a student with many things amongst her mind. It must of been another day of a regular teen, with issues of peer pressure, boys, and all the other bothers of the world. She tried to read the mind of the insolent girl, though there was too much ideals, Mimiru couldn't pick out what the girl was stressing about.
She wondered what it would be like to be 16 again...being human once more. It seemed her vampiric nature had much more to offer than the life of a mere mortal. Her hands danced a delicate black rose, as if looking at the reflection of her heart....dead and black.
A voice shattered the silence, and Mimiru turned her attention towards the student. A smirk crossed her lips, " Mimiru." She stated simply. It seemed the girl had not looked at the vampire that sat amongst the shadows.
" And who would you be?" She asked.

*watching from the shadow of a grave as he soothed the soul that was residing in the grave he watched as a female vampire was talking to a prefect*
Seems she doesn't realize that she is a vampire...
*walks a little closer bowing down at another grave to sooth another soul*

Feeling a bit suspicious, Faye reached down into her pocket for where her wand was usually kept. Unfortunatly it wasn't there- for the simple reason that she had snapped it in half only a week before in a rather sudden accident. It was just plain stupid for her to have gone out alone and unarmed- why hadn't she asked Wyl or Lottie to come with her? Surely neither one of them would have minded coming out for a quick walk with her.
But no, she wanted to be alone. Blissfully alone. But now what had she stumbled upon? She had no particularly special powers and she certainly couldn't see through the darkness. Maybe it was a lycan- in which she might be able to call for help. Perhaps Hayzie was out tonight and might hear her cries.
Nah, she was just being paranoid. It was probably just a student acting in a particularly morbid tone of voice. Sighing with relief, she leaned down and crossed her legs delicately, smoothing her robes down over her knees in a very relaxed fashion.
"Mimiru.." She said with a small smile. "A pretty name. Mine's Faerlain, Faye for short." Deciding not to trust this stranger completely, she purposely failed to mention her position at the school.

*Listening to the sound that eminated from the grave in which the student was on he realized that she was not prepared for what was there*
*He looks at the vampire to try to see what intentions she might have at the graveyard, because vampires often come to the graveyard just to enter it*

She twirled a balck rose within her palm, the petals crumbling in her hand. She looked at the prefect, a smile of amusement flickered within her eyes. It seemed within these minutes the girl hadn't found out her true nature. Thank you.. She said, answering the compliment. 'Tis nice to meet you Faye. She said simply.
It was quite odd in her nature to be speaking to a human, but it seemed wrong...as it her morals were actually controling her actions. Another presence seemed to catch her attention. One of Faye's kind. Greetings She sent. Why don't you show yourself? She asked with curiousity. After all there isn't much to hide from.... She said with a smirk.

Azaleon, even being the kind of person who did not like tricks, laughed lightly in his head as the vampire he was watching mistook him for one of her own and he approached grave by grave whispering the tidings of the living to each grave, but not letting his true nature appear. "I have no reason to hide, you know?" He said in a teasing voice

She sighed, she was right another foolish human had entered the graveyard thinking she was a harmless being. You should fear....for I'm not one to be tested with... She said softly. Though she was probably the most patient of her kind, she did not like to play games with humans.
I'm Mimiru... She said simply. If you did not hear the first time. She said with a smirk.

There was just something that didn't feel quite right about this girl. She didn't look much older than Faye, but felt a lot older... much, much older. Some part of the slightly wimpy prefect considered just calling it a night and heading back to the castle, but the other half refused. After all, it wasn't an adventure if you didn't know what you were getting yourself into. And this time... she really didn't have a clue.
Well, Mimiru hardly seemed like the dangerous type. And Faye had been told that she really needed to make more friends from outside of her house, after all.
"So... what are you doing out here tonight?" She questioned polietly, dipping her head towards Azaleon as Mimiru coaxed him out of hiding. It looked like tonight was shaping up to be much more interesting than she had expected.

Such a normal night. Nothing special really. Only one night he had spent in the school grounds, and already abnormal things had happened. More than one feed in one night, and just for the purpose of it too. It seemed as though there were many young Vampires nowadays. Why were his kind siring them so much more now? Was it something he had missed in his slumber of a lifetime? After all, it wouldn't surprise him if there was many other things that had changed.
"Many Vampires are not ones to be tested with," muttered his deep, silky voice. It didn't matter to him if the students had picked up on his words, nor if the Vampiress had gotten rather annoyed at him for it. Silently he stood in the darkness of the prefect's shadow, covered in his black cloak and hood, hiding his emerald eyes. They turned to face the younger Vampire, the moonlight causing a flicker of gold in a cat-like way.
"And like myself earlier, she's probably out searching for a good feed," he replied rather huskily towards the brunette.
Ooc: Apologies for the horrible reply

Something was wrong... something was terribly wrong. But what? Faye had never been particuarly bright; not when it came to actually applying the knowledge she had learned. Carefully, she reached into her pocket and withdrew her wand. Just incase she actually needed to use it, though she strongly doubted it would be of much use.
The voice that suddenly appeared without her caused her to jump, which resulted in her falling off the tombstone and into the dirt. After shaking her hair from her eyes, she looked up only to find a rather foreboding figure standing almost directly in front of her.
Vampires, that was it. They were vampires...
"I.... I really didn't mean any harm, sir." She quickly stammered, scooting away from him as much as she could. "I didn't mean to be any trouble."

Anothe voice had broken the silence, another had entered but his presence was unhuman- like, unlike the others that had ventured into these parts. It was one of her kind...one she had not had the chance to meet. She looked at him with curiousity raising an eye brow.Greetings She sent simply. It seems I have not seen you around these parts before.
She looked at th prefect stammering, trying to apologize for the curiousity that she was "gifted" with. She sighed, it was just the same with every human. Once they found out their true nature they beg for their right to live and act foolish infront of her kind. It was quite predictable on her part.
She smiled slighting, her fangs showing slight. " Yes young one." She said simply. " We are the creatures of the darkness, cursed within our very souls." She answered to the mental note within the prefect's mind. It was quite amusing to see her jumping from the tombstone, scooting away from the vampire that had just joined the midnight party.

She paused, thinking about things for a moment. Well, her fear was most certainly realistic. Vampires generally didn't have the best reputation, at least around the school. But, as of yet, Mimiru hadn't tried to harm her. There was no doubt in Faye's mind that if either of the unique beings had wanted her dead, then they would have just killed her already and stopped wasting time.
Raising one eyebrow, she crossed her legs indian-style and glanced up at the two beings. It wasn't that she wasn't afraid anymore, but more accepting. Escaping would be useless anyway; so why even bother trying?
"So..." She said thoughtfully. "I don't mean to be rude, but I'd like to know if I'm going to die a rather premature and bloody death right now, just so I might be prepared for it." A weak smile crossed her face, not because she found the situation was amusing but rather to keep it from twitching in fear.

Finally the girl clicked, and the Vampire flickered a smile at the corner of his lips at the fact of her falling off the gravestone and racing further from him. The stammering was a cause too. As she clumsily stumbled away from Marius, he took but two strides towards her as she stopped, and stood straight over her, gazing down from under his hood, purposefully ignoring the younger of his kind. The Vampiress spoke now, her fake wisdom leaking from her like a dripping tap. It annoyed Marius sincerely, mainly due to the point that there were so many young Vampires trying to seem older.
It didn't work.
But the student was wrong. If the Vampires were to kill her, they would have done it any way they wished. Some, like him, chose to kill rather slowly, for all he had was time. Others chose to kill swiftly, decreased all point in being a Vampire. A pale, graceful hand reached up from under his black cloak to hold his chin between his thumb and index finger, mocking the human image of thought. After a few long moments of silence, and mock thinking, his stained lips parted, flashing a glint of his fangs. "Why would I tell you if I were to kill you?" He asked rhetorically. "It diminishes the point of surprise."
The icy-cold hand that was bracing his chin reached down, holding itself in a loose fist. The ends of his fingers brushed against the prefect's cheek, taking in the warmth that she was almost so eagerly expelling. "So warm," he uttered to no one in particular. It was true, she was almost like a furnace in comparison to his dead skin. The hand took itself away, and slid around the back of her neck, bringing her easily up face-to-face with Marius. Their noses were merely two inches apart. "You're too beautiful for a human." Was all he said, holding her there with one hand.
