February had drawn in around Magic Horizons leaving the snow showers less frequent, yet the snow on the ground sparkling white. Hayzie had come up with the idea weeks ago, and had waited for the right time to set it all up before sending out the invites to every member of the school.
A very large gazebo had been placed close to the lake, with a heating charm placed all around it in order to keep everyone warm. The House Elves had spent the best part of the morning bringing soups, bread rolls, butterbeer, sausages, bacon, warm pumpkin juice and all kinds of warm sweets and treats from the kitchens to the Gazebo and placed them in special "Staywarm" containers on the tables which were dotted around the gazebo at kneel height. They would all sit around the tables on the assorted coloured blankets that lay on the ground (After the snow had been hardened and made warm for a while, of course) and hopefully have a good time.
Glancing around with green eyes, Hayzie pulled her coat around her that little bit tighter. It all looked amazing! Magic had even allowed her to have the sounds of birds tweeting overhead so it seemed like a normal summer picnic, but not quite.
Looking up to the castle and down to her watch, the blonde girl smiled. It shouldn't be long before people began arriving to the school-wide Winter picnic. Hopefully, it would be a good afternoon.

Momiji had gotten an invitation to a 'Winter Picnic' and when anything with food was involved he was there. He quickly got his long pants on, his winter sweater and then his winter coat on as well. After a half an hour of trying to put his cloths on and finding his winter hat, he quickly made his way down to the Lake where he'd never been before. It was good that he had gotten directions from the invitation.
When he arrived at the Lake he looked around and then found a girl he had seen before in the Entrance Hall. Momiji smiled and ran up to her with much happiness "Hello again, Hayzie!" He said cheerfully. "I've never been on a picnic in the winter time. This will be fun." His smiled getting bigger as he thought about the food that will be at the picnic. His mouth began to seep with drool "Mmm I love food..."

Angie waited until night to come, considering her condition. She dressed in a furry black trench coat and her usual casual dress and heels when she came to special occassions. She saw many of the students of MH all eating and having fun, like she used to when she was human. She walked out to the lake. She didn't expect many people to talk to her. She thought she had changed for the better but she was starting to think otherwise.
The wind was nippy but it really didn't seem to phase her, for her skin was already frezzing anyway. She stood off to the side away from the croud near one of the trees, watching everyone for a moment.

Evie had been very surprised to stumble upon a school picnic near the lake. She could smell the meats (both human and animal alike) and began to follow the ribbons of temptation. It had been a very long time since she had eaten a good meal.
Upon entering the gazebo she immedietly walked over to the buffet and began to eat. Not making a pig of herself, of course, but still chowing like a hospital release patient. The cold breeze didn't bother her at all as she walked back down the gazebo stairs.

Sin shook her head so hard her ponytail slapped against her face, which was rosy from the cold. “Way to go Hayzie,” she whispered to herself, tilting her head and critically assessing the head's creation before slowly craking into her own heart warming smile. It had been the head girl herself that had put together this picnic and the open room was decorated in the finest gold, scarlet, green, and deep blue blankets and decorations that she had ever seen. The food was as delicious as the room was beautiful, laid out on the many tables within the white winterland masquerade.
Sin looked around the room once more and noticed the student girl’s attire. Some were as extravagant as she could imagine while others were simple and plain, but that by no means dampened their beauty; it only seemed to highlight it. Sin herself, had only worn a rugged pair of jeans along with a heavy set sweatshirt to accompany it. The men dressed all alike in plain jackets and knee length overcoaats.
Finally, her legs began to work and she walked into the gazebo greeted by those who he passed. After talking with more than half of the students in the room, however, she managed to slip away to the balcony that lay to the right of the gazebo. Leaning against the edge she let the cool air ruffle her hair as she looked on over the school of Magical Horizons; its lights shinning like the clouds above in the clear blue sky.

The blonde nurse folded the piece of parchment back in half and tossed it in the general direction of her bed, it floated down quickly landing near her pillow. She had just received an invitation to a Winter Picnic. The idea truly intrigued the girl as she rummaged through the trunk at the foot of her large four-poster bed.
Soon she pulled out what she liked to call her 'winter woollies'. On her bed she layed out a pastel pink, skivvy style top, a pair of flare-legged blue jeans and a fleecy pastel blue jacket, which was trimmed around the hood and cuffs, with matching pastel blue fur. She slipped her jumper and tracksuit pants off, and dressed in the warmer clothes. Adjusting the jacket on her shoulders, Kasey reached into her trunk once more and pulled out a pair of pastel blue gloves and matching scarf.
Tossing one side of the scarf over her left shoulder Kasey headed down the dormitory stairs and off to the Lake. Reaching the end of the staircase that came into the Entrance Hall, she walked across the empty room and headed for the doors. Before opening the door, she reached down and did up the jacket's zip to prevent the cool air from chilling her body. Opening the door she stepped outside taking in the beautiful scenery.
Taking on the steps two-by-two, she reached the foot quicker than normal. Smiling to herself she crossed the snow covered grounds in the direction of a gazebo that seeming popped up overnight. Reaching the gazebo, Kasey immediately recognized the blonde Head Girl and flashed her a smile. "Hey there Hayzie," she said coming to a halt in front of her friend, "This is a wonderful idea" the Hufflepuff added looking around at the spread that had been set up inside the gazebo.

A blonde hair boy walked around the grounds with his yellow hawk like eyes wondering around as if he had lost something.
This mind not on the large gazebo that was in front of him, he entered and when he reliesed that the sun was no longer shining he looked up and saw a group of people standing around talking, going abit red he saw Hayzie and Kasey talking.
Walking towards the two of them he smiled "Hello Hayzie, Kasey how are you two?" Joel asked "You two haven't seen by any chance my other black shoe?"

A large bank of snow sat close to the entrance to the Lycan Tunnels, looking like it had been carelessly shoved aside to clear the pathway so they could enter there home, however, that’s not what it was there for. If one looked close enough, they could see sparkling blue eyes in said snow, but that’s all that could be seen. They looked as if they were merely floating there, kind of like little blue gems just pushed into the snow.
A small brown wolf pup was slowly slinking around the tunnels entrance, looking to be on full guard. All of a sudden, the lifeless snow pile flew in different directions, leaving behind only a blondish wolf. Launching forward, the lycaness enclosed her strong jaws around the head of the pup. Letting out a yelp, the pup began to squirm, trying desperately to get out of Faith’s grasp.
Lifting the pup from the ground, Faith let out a wolfish laugh as she dropped the pup and he glared up at her. Baring her fangs in a semi-smile, Faith flopped over onto her back and began to roll around. Standing back up after a few moments, Faith nudged the pup, and he took off towards his home.
Moving her glacial-blue eyes up towards the sun, the blonde lycaness squinted slightly, before looking panicked. Beginning to run towards the lake at full speed, Faith let her tongue loll out of the side of her mouth as she ran. Picking up speed, the slight blonde had the misfortune of meeting up with a patch of ice, and therefore went sliding across the ground, landing ungracefully in a heap by the gazebo.
Standing up and shaking off, Faith looked around at the gathering crowd, before disappearing behind a tree. After a few moments and little bit of silent cursing, the blonde came out from behind the tree, now in human form. She wore a long beige coat that went down to her knees, jeans, a visor, and running shoes.
Grinning widely at everyone, Faith waved, “Helloooo!” Looking around, the slight blonde took in the sight, “Wow… Looks awesome,” Turning her crystalline gaze towards Hayzie, a warm smile fell onto her lips, and she gave the other girl an affectionate punch on the shoulder, “Hey, long time no see, you should really visit sometime, I’m sure no one would tear you apart or anything,” she said with a playful smile.

Ah, yes, another freezing-ass-cold winter day. Really, Orca hated winter. The snow would fall into his fur, melt, and then freeze, resulting in a Orca ice-cube. Besides, he blended in the landscape, and no one could see his adorably foolish antics. Well, this is how he thought of them, anyway. But, even so, a Winter Picnic sounded nice.
He bounded up the stair, narrowly dodging a few students, and quickly snatched up a sausage to gnaw on as he made his way around. As he turned around, however, something he saw before caused him to drop the sausage and gape like a tourist.
"Hayzie-chan! Faith-chan! Tedibea-chan!" And with those poetic words, the lycan boy hurled himself at the three girls. He pulled up just short of smashing into them and pulled his worn ZERO jacket tighter.
"I can't believe it! 'Tis been so long.... how have you all been?"

(ooc: W0000000!!!! I was invited!!! *never gets invited to anything*) Although she had never really gotten used to having a dog for herself (having never had one), the blue-haired Hufflepuff Prefect was really growing to love her new pet. Courtesy of Qarrien for Christmas, there was a little bundle of white with blue-ish-grey spots and blotches, with the occasional copper colour, bounding at her side, almost quite literally. This little one was strange though for its breed. Australian Shepherds usually had colours all the way up to its face; this little one had a pearly coloured face and ears with a splotch of grey on one side. The long white furred cloak flowed down to her ankles, skimming over the beautiful winter snow as she made her way toward the Gazibo. There were enough people there to make Carmen's eyes boggle like she had done the first time she had come to Magic Horizons, but staring down at the now sitting pup, she watched him for just a moment. His tongue was lolled out of his mouth in a goofy manner, and his head was zipping around, watching everyone else. Weaving through the ever-growing crowd, Carmen's smile stayed on her cold face as she neared the perpetraitor of the picnic. But, there were so many people around the said girl that her head could pop off at any moment. So she decided against seeing Hayzie for now. Later when everything quietened down a little. With an ungraceful bending, Carmen picked up the pup and held him under one arm, moving toward the side of the gazibo where there were a few blankets thrown for people to sit. (Ooc: Teh Pup So cuute! o.0 Faith! Which pup is that?! Does Faithy have a little boy?!?!)

Joel turned to see the girl with blue hair that he had met in the Library the day before, she had a great Aussie accent that Joel found to be very funny but funny in a good way.
Walking over to her, Joel smiled "Nice to see you again Carmen, how are you on this cold day?" Joel asked smiling

After plopping the little pup onto the ground and noticing his yipping toward something, Carmen looked up to see a familiar face smiling and talking to her. The blonde boy from the Library. Joel, wasn't it? Yes. The Aussie Shepherd pup wagged his tail so much that it was almost a blur of white, grey and black, yapping happily at the stranger to him. "Oh! I'm fine thanks. It's not what I'm used to, despite having been here for a while. It just takes a bit for my senses to get comfortable with."
"It's not every day at home that your nose almost drops off from the cold!" She chuckled, whilst crossing one leg over the other. Instead of standing there awkwardly as if she needed the bathroom, Carmen lowered herself to the ground, sitting cross-legged with the pup happily bounding straight to the boy's legs. "How do you deal with the cold, Joel?" She asked, petting the ground in front of her for him to sit.

Joel sat down and started patting the puppy that looked so cute.
"I am still not used to the cold but I learnt a spell that keeps me warm" Joel said laughing "You have a cute little puppy, what is it's name?"

So far, it looked like a success. Students were milling around eating various items of food off the many tables, all of which replenished itself magically and so far it seemed all was going well. Kasey, Faith, Joel and Orca had come up to say hi, and as of yet, the blonde had sat there in silence.
"Hey, guys!" she grinned. "What do you think? Is it all okay?" Hayz asked, looking around again. It seemed the school was somewhat divided lately, and the aim of the picnic was to put all that right again.
After Faith punched her lightly in the arm Hayzie put on a mock-pained face. "I would come down, but I'm sure you guys are having a much more peaceful life without me there, no?" the blonde smiled, knowing it was a feeble arguement. The tunnel Lycans had helped her loads since she had started at MH, and now she was too scared to even go down there to say hello.
Carmen had arrived too, now. It had been a while since she had seen the blue-haired Hufflepuff and made a vow to go and speak to her later on, as well as Sin who she waved to as she passed.
"Anyway, guys. Go and get something to eat! It'll all go cold otherwise. Then we can catch up."
