The demon landed in front of her so quickly that she hardly had time to react, however she did take a few more steps backwards and considered just leaping off into the brush like she had never even been there in the first place. Why was she so afraid? If she were back in the Tunnels, she would be perfectly willing to step up and announce exactly who she was. But now... now, this place was strange to her. The creatures were strange. And the earth was certainly strange, considering that she was still lost.
Darting out to the side slightly to get a better look, she gave the appearence of peering around Isaac's legs and then quickly moving back again. The male lycan who had been hurting the humans was advancing upon her, though she sensed no malice in his voice. It was merely curiosity, the same kind of curiosity that Fenris had towards her. Fear. More fear. They had to know, know that she didn't belong here...
"H..hi." She replied, almost weakly as she cast a glance around the forest to see if any other strangers were going to just appear out of the blue. The whole series of events with her "son" had almost driven her to be timid again, losing the arrogant, cocky girl of the past. So, perhaps she had been taught a lesson, in some small way.
She had never met Faylinn before, but did pick up on the fact that she smelled strongly like Faith. But this lycaness seemed colder, meaner, and probably not someone who would be good to ask for directions back to the part of the forest that she had come from. She would probably kill Cealla just as easily as a human, however she was apparently held back by something that the pup couldn't quite figure out. Flexing her paws into the muddy earth, she briefly pondered changing into human form, but decided against it. It would be easier to make a quick escape while still as a wolf, since it did make her a great deal smaller.
"Who are you to talk of my father?" She said, dragged out of her momentary lapse of words upon the demon's mention of him. That simply angered her- her own father had nearly gotten her killed by Fenris after Xavier had struck a clear deal with him. And she still hadn't gotten to hear his excuse for that long abscense after her mother's death. The words were spoken with an edgy growl to them as she blinked a few times, trying to keep the rainwater from dripping into her eyes.
This was certainly not a safe place for her.
