Though the girl had indeed attempted to aim for Forgoil's hand, perhaps she was a bit off in the aiming part, or maybe Forgoil was too tired to 'jump to it'. From his words, it seemed to be the latter, but Carmen wouldn't let the former surpass. It was definitely something she had to practice, and now was the perfect time. But the Lycan? They would have to hit the Lycan? "Oh gods…" muttered the girl under her breath.
From where she was floating above the box of now empty nothingness, the girl watched the balls that she had to hit soar about quickly. Her task would be harder than she thought. "Actually I wasn't talking about your attire, but anyway…" Carmen admitted as she tilted forward on her broom to lead her upward, metres away from Xavier. To his greeting, she merely nodded. Formalities were usually her specialty, but due to the circumstances, they were out of line here, or so she thought.
The bludger she was just so happening to be watching noticed her, and rocketed straight toward her broom. Or was it her leg? She couldn't tell. Either way, there was one thing she had to do; whack the bludger straight at Xavier. But the thought was a little more scarier when it came to acting it out. Eyes shut, arm back, swing, THUD! Was that the ball she hit? Or was it an official that had come to talk to her?
Squinting an eye open, it revealed that the blighter had been hit by her and was spinning toward the floating Lycan at a very high speed. Now that the bludger was off her mind, she could think properly. It would be better now that Xavier was practicing with them, because Lycans (from what she had experienced) were a lot faster in reflex time, thus giving them the upper hand in aiming for the correct spot.

THUD!
Xavier heard the crack of the Beater's bat below him and looked down casually. Suddenly his eyes widened as he noticed the angry Bludger headed straight for him.
"Well, here we go," he sighed as he got back up onto his broom and flipped upside down, then pulled back and did a dive straight down towards terra firma. The bludger growled at him angrily and did a wide, sweeping turn to get back on his tail.
"Wonderful...they actually have SEEKER bludgers now."
Xavier continued his dive, then began pulling back as the ground rushed up at him. Soon he was skimming a mere few inches above the ground, his boots skimming the white snow, making a long trail along the pitch. As the bludger came down, it slammed into the ground, making a white hole ringed with brown dirt and grass. Soon the bludger came back up, this time at twice the speed. Xavier skidded to a halt and turned around to face the bludger, then kicked off as fast as he could. Soon he and the angry magical object were flying straight at each other at speeds that would make any observer dizzy. For Xavier, time seemed to slow down. He could hear his own breath, his own heartbeat. He could hear the angry warbling of the bludger as it aimed squarely for his chest. Suddenly he felt the bludger a few inches away from him and Xavier slid to the right, causing the object to brush against his left arm.
"Ole!" he called as he laughed. "Well that was interesting. I wonder what's next?" he said as the bludger slammed into one of the goalposts and shook unsteadily, then gave up chasing Xavier and slowly made its way towards an unsuspecting student.

OOC: My internet has been down for the past night, I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner. They might be a bit shorter for now, just because I can only post from school. My apologies.
Faye grinned as she watched the two beaters take off, obviously intent in destroying Xavier. But after he displayed his elaborate flying techniques, she had no doubt in her mind that he would be able to stand up to the newly appointed beaters. Hopefully they wouldn't be able to hurt him too badly, otherwise she might feel rather guilty. Sighing, she tossed the quaffle up in the air a few more times before noticing that Roan was hovering along beside her.
"Hey Roan." She said with a grin. "I'm all ready for you. Want to get in the goal and try and block a few of my shots before Lottie and Latisha get up here?"

The team of seven was coming together slowly, so far five members attend practice and two were missing. Latisha saw the piece of parchment on the message board announcing practice. The brunette was one of the seven that made the team.
They were soon joined by a green hair man with glowing orange eyes. He seemed like interesting man, but he was wearing regular robes and not hufflepuff's robes, but he still wanted to play the game of qudditch.
Faye looked busy, taking the responsibility of team captain. She was saying hi to Lottie, Roan, Carmen and herself. Latish said "Good Morning, Faye" hoping that she could hear her. The brunette laughed and looked to-wards Lil Lottie "So how are you?" she asked her. At the mean time Latisha was putting up her hair, into two separate French braids, having some difficulty, but she did have success.
Another hufflepuff decide to join the team and if she was correct it looked like Forgoil, with his white hair and smoky green eyes. "Hi, I'm Latisha Morgan" she said. She turned and went back to her conversation with Lottie.
Everybody took poison expect for Lottie, Latisha and Faelrain the three qudditch chasers. She got over excited and started to bounce up and down "When can we start?" Hoping that it would be soon. The bludgers were moving back and fourth with Xavier hitting them back and fourth. At last Faye was ready for the two chasers to join in at center field.
Latisha Morgan mounted her Nimbus 2001 and joined the rest of the team. "What would you like us to do?" asking Faye.
She had dodged a couple bludgers and then returned to center field. She didn't get any other instructions from there.

Wyl spilled out of the doors of the castle, hurriedly tugging on an old robe over his shoulders and somehow grasping his Nimbus in one of his hands. Once again he managed to wrangle himself the appearance of someone completely insane as he wrestled with the shoulder of his robes, trying to jerk it up over his shirt so he could play. Everyone walking along the path dodged him as Wyl was very clearly not going to move out of their way and somehow had brought his hand up to knock his glasses askew so he was walking blindly down in the direction he thought the Pitch was. This feat was often boasted of by many students 'I could walk to the Pitch as blind as Trelawney!' which was, of course, referring to the infamous Divination teacher who was famous for drinking her beloved sherry. However, it had never actually bee performed and Wyl was inadvertently attempting it now.
Feet slipping occasionally on the stones, Wyl squinted through his blurry eyes at the robe and wondered perplexed what in the name of Merlin he was doing wrong. He decided to stop and immediately did so, creating a few groans of annoyance behind him - even though they had been following him at a safe distance and laughing behind their hands at him. He placed his broom on the ground and straightened his glasses, then looked over his predicament. He grinned, spotting the problem straight away. He'd been pulling the badly made hood over his shoulder as opposed to the actual shoulder piece. He did so immediately and then picked up his broom, deciding to mount it then and there and fly the rest of the way down to the Pitch.
Most of everyone was already there - he'd expected that. He had been away for awhile after all and he didn't think for a second that they'd drop everything they were doing and wait patiently for him to return. In fact, he was happy that someone had had enough guts to step forward and organise the team.
To his relief, he still knew most of everyone. At MH, you could never be sure who'd still be here when you returned. The core group of Puffs was still here, Faye, Frog, Carmy (who both looked as though they were attacking a Lycan with Bludgers?), Latisha (who he didn't know as well as the others but recognised her nonetheless) and Roan (who fell into the same boat as Latisha). Lottie wasn't there, to his disappointment. He hadn't been able to speak to her much of late, but he was sure that that time would come.
Pushing his glasses up his nose he gently pulled up the handle of his broom and shot up into the air, enjoying the wind ruffling through his hair and billowing out his robes behind him, which were already falling suspiciously to the side and off his shoulder again. Zooming over to Carm and Frog, Wyl ducked a Bludger and shouted out an "OI!" to catch their attention, circling them twice and then flying off to say hello to Faye, Tish and Roan.
