Sick of waiting, the girl flicked her saber at Mike, and her wand.
"Accio." Her wand came back, but she had to reach a little.
Grandparents can be so annoying, even after death Thought the girl to herself.
The nagging voice at the back of her mind yelled and screamed that it was just a metaphore taken literally.
"You should strive to obtain that which is at first beyond your reach." The voice reminded her.
Shut up. The girl told the voice, and put her saber away now that she held her own wand again.
Looking back at Mike, she softened a little, not much, but enough to pity him for what she had done.
"You're a very skilled wizard, Mike, I hope we meet again, and whatever I saw is forgotten already. I shouldn't have done that." The girl would have picked up something, but there was nothing of hers to pick up.
Instead she left the Dueling hall, wondering what she would do with herself now. She still needed an outlet for the built up emotion, the duel hadn't helped in the least. It had been magical, not physical.
