"Good. No-one here."
Makira Blackthorne walked up the hallway to the stage, and summoned a microphone. She looked forward, tears in her brown, amber speckled eyes. The song she was going to sing was meant to be a DUET, which made her all the more sad.
She was wearing a short, black, long-sleeved shirt that went to her knuckles. It had "Eien no...Sayounara...." printed on it in pinkish-orange. Her skirt was long and fluffed out and was pinkish-orange, too, but a darker shade. Her thick, extremely dark brown hair wasn't the normal mess it usually was. It was straightened, soft and shiny. To put it in her own words: "I actually look like a girl for once.......A fairly pretty one."
A tear stained the stage floor as she summoned up music behind her. It was the sound of an acoustic guitar. It sounded...sad.
You could almost hear the waves splashing as the sun set while she sang her sad song.....
"Yuugure ni kimi to mita orenji no taiyou
Yuugure ni kimi to mita orenji no taiyou
All of a sudden, it sounded like an orchestra. Violins were the most pronounced. The song got strong, even though, it was tinted with sadness. Then it slowed again .....
"Kirameku nami to
tawamureteita
mujaki na kimi no
sono yokogao.
Hadashi de sunahama wo kakenukeru
kimi ga....... itoshii.
Suna ni kaita
kimi no namae to
kazaritsuketa
kaigara wa
kata wo yoseta bokura no mae de
nami ni sarawareta.
Yuugure ni kimi to mita orenji no taiyou
Her voice started to break, slightly. She was trying hard to hold back more tears.
"Aoi sora wa
iki wo hisomete
akai yuuhi ni
dakareteyuku.
Boku mo kimi wo dakishimenagara
hitomi wo tojita.
Ikutsumono yorokobi ya kanashimi mo
kazoekirenai
deai ya wakare mo
ano koro to kawarazu yasashiku miteru
orenji no taiyou."
The song was getting loud and strong again. She was still fighting her hardest to hold back the tears.
"Eien wo
yume miteta
ano koro no
bokura wa
itsumademo
hanarezu ni
dakiatte
waratteta."
There was a strong musical interlude. Makira was just waiting....waiting for her favorite part of the song.....
The music slowed, again.
"Akireru hodo
kimi wo omou yo.
Sore dake de
boku wa mitasareru.
Nakanai de
itsu datte
aeru yo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!
Hitomi wo tojireba~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!......"
At the small interlude, She couldn't fight them anymore. They flowed endlessly down her cheeks as she sang. You could tell her heart and soul were going into this song. She stuck out the last part...
"Yuugure ni kimi to mita orenji no taiyou
Yuugure ni kimi to mita orenji no taiyou
Yuugure ni kimi to mita orenji no taiyou
Yuugure ni kimi to mita orenji no taiyou
Yuugure ni kimi to mita orenji no taiyou
There was another strong musical interlude.
The song slowed for the finale. The sad guitar played again and she closed her eyes. She was singing in barely more than a whisper.
"Yuugure ni
kimi to mita
orenji no
taiyou
Nakisou na
kao wo s***e
eien no
sayounara..."
The tears wouldn't let up.
"Yuugure ni
kimi to mita
orenji no
taiyou
Nakisou na
kao wo s***e
eien no
sayounara~~~...."
She fell to her knees as the music faded. She buried her face in her hands as she silently sobbed. She kept uttering one word,
"Sayounara"...
(OOC: I'll IM the translation, if wanted. The title, "Orenji No Taiyou" means "the Orange Sun" and "Eien No Sayounara" means "The Eternal Goodbye" ;D
And, uh the *'s are covering up the word "s h i t e", ehehe. ^_^
