The ghost had listened intently as Xavier had explained all, nodding occasionally to show that she understood, until the story was over. It was really rather frightening, all that was going on.
Then Kage had sat up. The phantom had been startled, but as soon as she got over the surprise of Kage moving so fast, she smiled.
"Now, there's the Kage we know. Let him go please, you need to lie still and let your body heal." The dead girl said, picking up a pencil and a clipboard.
It was sort of a fancy, but it seemed to help later as well. She wrote down all she could about what was going on for each problem. This little "report" took note of the reasons for the conditions everyone was in, what condition they were in, and what was being done for them.
If she could, she also like to know what was going on inside the people's heads, but not for this one.
"Rigor Mortice and Immobulus are among the top two spells not to perform on people. They cause a mild paranoia to ensue, and are really no good for the patient's mental health. Please don't do it again in the Hospital Wing, Xavier." The ghost said as her pencil scribbled across the paper. She wasn't actually holding the pencil, it just moved as she told it to.

OOC: This post is going to REALLY suck, but here goes.
IC:
Xavier scowled at Shae slightly from her little lecture, but he shrugged and nodded, understanding what she told him.
"Sorry 'bout that, Shae," he mumbled.
OOC: And...that's it...sorry folks...out of ideas...

OOC: As I have been away for too long, Im simply going to hurry this up.
BIC:
He could hear voices.
Not those belonging to his friends, the ones in the room. They were simply listless echoes, something not meant to be coherent. No, the voices he heard were like whispers upon the invisible breeze, imploring him to live and heal.
Voices he knew.
Gradually, the whispers filtered out, leaving only a voice that held the sage of wisdom within it. It implored Kage to simply remember who he was, and meld that with what he is. It was not only a suggestion, but somehow, a command....
I must overcome
Kage's final thought before he let sleep claim him, heal him, restore him.

She hadn't meant to lecture, so she didn't speak again, just watched Kage.
Relief spilled over her as she saw him relax, and his breathing become the regular breathing of sleep.
"Thanks be. I don't know who or what to thank, but thanks to Kage for not giving up on himself." There was nothing to do but to wait.
And she could wait for a long time.

A small yawn emitted from the girl's mouth as she stood careful guard over her father- she knew that the ghost girl was obviously there to help him, so she saw her as no threat. And, of course, Xavier wouldn't let anything happen to him either. She had nothing to worry about, as ususual. Or, perhaps she just worried a bit too much for someone of her age. Maybe she needed to relax a bit.
She let out a small sigh of relief as he slipped into sleep. So she wouldn't lose him after all- not like that was something she wanted. Smiling a little bit, she placed his hand in her own and gently squeezed it. She'd be there for him until he got better, to help him in any way that she possibly could.
