Krista sat and stared at the questions on the bored. She loved Potions, it was after all her second favorite subject. She copied down the questions and began to scratch down answers. Krista DiGloria Year 4 Polyjuice PotionQuestions: 1) If you could add a piece of anybody to the Polyjuice Potion, who would it be and why? I think I would probably pick someone from a different house, just to see what goes on in the other classes and thier common room. Maybe the Gryffindors, just to find out some of thier secrets. 2) Can you think of any ways in which you could tell apart the real person from an imposter taking the Polyjuice Potion? Well, if you knew the person, you could probably tell by how they waked or talked, or thier actions. 3) Have you ever taken the Polyjuice Potion or encountered anyone under the influence of it? (This is confidential, I won't get you in trouble. Promise. I've never taken the potion, but one of my friends have. I do plan on it eventually though, and not just in this class .

Ace grinned at the question first from Ashlle and then the quick reply from another student in the class.
"That's exactly right, well done. Ten points to your house for spotting that."

Reading the board Alexis sat and read the questions. Oh the good old days… Alexis thought as she pondered. She got out her quill and a peace of parchment and started to write up her answer.
1. If you could add a piece of anybody to the Polyjuice Potion, who would it be and why?
Again Alexis had to think for a bit then it struck her.
It would most probably be a person I would like to get back at. While I was pretending to be that person I would get them into trouble like wondering around out of grounds and go out after curfew, that sort of thing. I wouldn’t care about being caught.
2. Can you think of any ways in which you could tell apart the real person from an impostor taking the Polyjuice Potion?
That is easy. All you would have to do is watch the person. They would walk differently and act differently and talk like some one else. You could casually ask a few questions as well like what was your favorite colour again. I forgot and was curious so as I can make sure it’s right for Christmas. That sort of thing.
3. Have you ever taken the Polyjuice Potion or encountered anyone under the influence of it?
Alexis thought for a moment not really sure if she could trust the professor or not about it. He did seem ok though and if he did tell someone she didn’t mind, changing schools again would be fun.
Yes I have taken it a few times at my old school. My friends and I would take it to get around after hours. Fun times.
Alexis then got up and collected her ingredients once she had been finished writing up her answers to start. It was only her love for potions that drove her to even consider going to class. It was one of the few things she was good at, maybe other then Defense Against the Dark Arts that was coming up later in the day.
Alexis knew how to do this potion already so she already had that going in her favor. She made sure though to follow the directions in the book though to make sure. It had been a little while since she had made it. Carefully she laid out the ingredients and started to add all in its turn so as she didn’t do anything wrong. She wanted to make sure she could keep some safe for later use.

Hayzie was half asleep herself when the Professor entered the room, though at hearing what the lesson was about, the blonde girl's eyes widened. The Polyjuice Potion?! Why hadn't she had this lesson two years before? Then maybe she wouldn't have been caught. Grumbling silently to herself, Hayz went and picked up the ingredients needed and followed the directions in the book. Luckily, the blonde was able to do everything in precise order and at the precise times.
Some of the ingredients were ones she would have chosen not to put in, but many of them were okay; if not just a little gross.
Looking at the mixture in the couldren made the blonde's stomach churn, but she decided to answer the questions while waiting for it to finish.
Questions:
1) If you could add a piece of anybody to the Polyjuice Potion, who would it be and why?
If I could, I'd like to turn in to someone in a high place so I could try and make a few changes here and there.
2) Can you think of any ways in which you could tell apart the real person from an imposter taking the Polyjuice Potion?
The best way is to ask a question which only the real person would know the answer to. For example, if it was me, my question could be: How many Charms do you know which shouldn't be public knowledge yet. Personally, I know the answer confidently, but someone pretending to be me would hesitate for a while.
3) Have you ever taken the Polyjuice Potion or encountered anyone under the influence of it? (This is confidential, I won't get you in trouble. Promise.)
Well, yes. I have. Once about two years ago... me and someone else brewed it in the Prefect's Bathroom, but I'd never do it again. Would you believe me if I told you it went wrong?
And that was it.
Reading over her answers, convinced they were the best she could do, Hayzie looked back at her potion. Only one more thing needed doing, adding a piece of someone else in. But that had to wait until just before taking it, so she would leave it for now.

Evence was rather intrigued by the study of potions, mainly because it took a little amount of reading and some of her fathers friends made it pretty interesting, blowing something up every few days while showing her the basics of it. She was fully ready for some proper education on the subject. Prof. Ace walked into the room and it seemed to Evence that the class wouldn't be horrible.
The Polyjuice Potion, interesting, she had a few run in with that potion. A smile crept across her face as she remembered the guys on her fathers ship all looking identical to him for a Halloween prank. She could still tell most of them apart anyways, they didn't have much in common at all.
Evence pulled out her potions book just as prof. Ace turned to the blackboard to show the class a writing assignment. She let out a quite groan, it could be worse she kept thinking to herself, as she yanked out a piece of parchment, and her stubborn Quick quotes quill. She set the paper on her desk and took the quill out of its case. Sure writing made you hand hurt, but not being able to write, write well that is, huts you dignity and self esteem.
She began dictating to the quill attempting to read what it said to make sure it didn't act to over dramatic.
Evence Leigh Fourth year Hufflepuff student
1) If I could add a piece of any person It would of course be part of the honorable and perfect role model Davy Jones, the great terrifying ruler of the deep.
Honorable? terrifying ruler of the deep? Evence rolled her eyes the quill was bound to do such a thing she knew it.
I know he's just from stories, but if It could be anyone it would be someone no one believes existed. Then you could prove them wrong.
2) The easiest way I can think of to know if someone isn't who they say the are is to tie them to a chair and wait until the potion wears off and they become who they really are. For that is the only way to know for sure and to have prof so you can punish the vile law break. . . .
Evence swatted the quick quotes quill which promptly erased the last sentence it wrote. The quick quotes quill always seemed to take sides with the government.
If of course you in a jam for time you could always use a truth serum, which could also become complicated. Knowing the character traits of the person your suspicious of or knowing their deepest secret could always work .
3) I know many people who work for my law breaking father whom have use the polyjuice potion on many occasions. They spent an entire day in a French town dressed like a band of famous dancers just to cause a riot. They succeeded, pandemonium spread throughout the entire country people were killing each other to get near the tricksters. Within a month the majority of them faced the ministry of magic for use of illegal magic. The ministry, though, had no prof that any of them had done anything because of there low profile and they were all let off. These same people have used the same potion in various occasions just for the heck of it.
Evence was tired of trying to read the answers the quill concocted, and stopped after the second question, letting it insult and exaggerate the truth all it wanted the rest of the time, though it didn't seem like it was doing to much.
Evence turned in the assignment and turned in the potions book to the page containing the polyjuice potion.

Ashlee was not all that thrilled when she heard the reason she'd be able to brew the Polyjuice Potion in the time it took to have this class. In fact she wasn't at all sure she wished to brew it at all especially if they were going to have to try it at the end. It wasn't that Ashlle loved being herself all that much, just that she trusted being anyone else even less. But an assignment was an assignment. She sighed and collected some fluxweed and a small scoop of Lacwing flies from Professors Ace's desk and went back to her seat to prepare her potion. She put the scoop of stewed flies into her cauldron. She then opened her jar of leeches and made a disgusted face. she placed the jars lid back on and got out her Dragon-hide gloves and put them on. She then reopened the jar and quickly and carefully spooned in the required amount of live Leeches. Potions was getting disgusting! Next she took up her stone mortar and pestle. Carefully she dropped in the powdered bicorn horn and the knotgrass and began to crush them up together. Ashlle ground hard and juice soon flowed from the grass. It took some time but after a few more moments the knotgrass started to grow speckled with grey and black. Now was the key moment. Ashlle stood her body as far away from the cauldron as possible and quickly and carefully added the mixture. Boom! Crackle crackle crackle! Ashlle jumped aside as her potion went a bit crazy. Ashlle timidly added the fluxweed, and began to stir with her longest stir rod. It didn't mater to her today what it was made of, there was on way she was getting near that mess! after fifteen minutes the potion had calmed down a a bit and Ashlle added the boomslang skin. The potion now looked like some kind of weird bubbling swamp mud, though this was what was called for by the book. Swallowing nervously Ashlle read that now was the time for her to find a piece of someone she wished to turn into. I don't want to turn into anyone else thought Ashlee, wondering if she'd get a bad grade again if she voiced this opinion.
