A rather motley group had just entered the Great Hall. The five of them seemed to be made up of students from different houses. It was rare that students from three different houses would sit together, but it was far from being impossible.
The redhead boy jumped up and down, trying hard to find an empty table that would seat all five of them. "Oy, this place is packed..." he muttered.

"Yeah, it is - I've never seen it this crowded. But then again, I've only been here less than a month, so that's probably why." Haycee joined Aylen in the search for a seat. "Oh wait - I think I see - in the way way back there - a couple of seats?" Haycee pointed to the far end of the hall, hoping they would know what she was talking about.

Larissa saw a group of student entering the Great Hall. The seemed to be searching for seats. She saw a familiar face in the crowd.AS Larissa was sitting alone at the very back of the Slytherin table she stood up and waved, hoping Haycee would see her. "Hey fellas!Over here!Haycee!Sit down over here with your friends!"she shouted.

Suddenly Haycee heard Larissa's voice. "Oh, Larissa hi!" Haycee called out over the crowd. She quickly turned to the others she was with and asked "Do you all want to sit over there with Larissa? She's really nice."

"Sure, I'm fine with that. Let's just sit down; I'm famished," Andy said over the stack of just about a dozen books that she was carrying. An agreeing rumble echoed from her stomach.

“Great! Seats!” Aylen grinned as he plopped down at the Slytherin table. He seemed oblivious to the stares from the other tables, especially the Gryffindor table. Aylen gave Larissa and Andy a wide grin. “Hi, I’m Aylen, Gryffindor. Nice to meetcha. I just met Haycee a few minutes ago.”

"Hey, I'm Andy," Andy said with an equally enthusiastic grin, "from Slytherin." She watched Aylen to see how he would react to this last piece of news. She was actually quite proud to be in Slytherin, but other students didn't always treat that last tidbit of news with as much exuberance as she did.
(OOC: Congrates! ;D 500th post. Impressive. )

"Hey Larissa, thanks for finding some seats for us!" Haycee said cheerfully as she sat down with the others. She looked around - she had never sat at the Slytherin table before. Some of the Slytherins looked a bit angry at Haycee and her new friends intrusion of their territory. Oh well, let them be angry. Haycee thought. We were invited here by a Slytherin who happens to be my friend, so it's too bad if they don't like it. Haycee remembered when she first came to Magical Horizons. She had been a little wary of the Slytherins at first, due to their general unfriendly reputation, especially to someone like her - a muggle-born. But meeting people like Larissa and Andy helped her disregard the Slytherin stereotype. Haycee knew now that there were friendly and unfriendly people in every house. A certain encounter with a really rude Gryffindor student crossed her mind. Yeah, there are jerks in every house. Haycee thought. However, she smiled and looked around at the people she was currently sitting with. Wow, I'm really lucky to have such great friends.

(ooc: Unfortunately, I have yet to catch up with my sister, who has twice as many posts as I do.)
"Slytherin? Really?" He quickly looked around and saw that the table was smack under the green and silver banner. "Oh, so we are...You know, once I met a complete ditz and you would have sworn she belonged in Hufflepuff, but nope, she's in Slytherin, too." He cast a glance around him, but did not ignore the stares, as Andy suggested. "Huh. I thought we would've been murdered now or something..." He grinned to show he was only joking.

"Oh, we aren't so murderous,it's just our bad reputation."Larissa tuned in."So,you are from Gryffindor?I heared it's a very friendly house. You're the first Gryffindor I've met since I'm here."

Aylen's grin grew wider. "So we're nice, are we?" he whispered loudly as if letting the girl in on a conspiracy. "My train of thought was that we'd have been murdered long before now if I brought a Slytherin to the Gryffindor Table." He shook his head. "Your view of Gryffindor shall be forever tainted by me." Then he frowned. "Speaking of Gryffies, where is my sister? I swear she was here just moments ago..."

"Nah,I don't think Gryffindors are murderous, but guess I might just have to sit down at the Gryffindor Table sometimes and see about the reaction."Larissa chuckled about this statement. "Anyway,I haven't seen your sis here."

"Yeah, I don't know where she is either. She was here with us a few minutes ago when we were in the Entrance Hall, so I don't know where she went off to. What's her name again, Adrianna? And I'm sorry, but I forgot yours too - is it Aidan?" Haycee asked the red-haied boy. She was usually pretty good when it came to names, but she had only met the boy and his sister once before - in Divinations class.
